Coach O may have a 'weird' voice to some, but listen to what he is saying. He said "it doesn't matter how you get here you just have to do something with it." Pretty damn good line. I can see why players get hyped to play for him.

How about posting the link instead of guessing what O said?

Nah I am too f*cking lazy. Go listen to his interview today and when he talks about Joe being a senior and leaving that is the area of the segment

I heard O say it live in his presser today, OP did not take it out of context and was actually pretty close to verbatim what O said.

Someone already posted it and I think you're way off with your assessment of "throwing shade" at Brennan.

Its going to be funny reading posts a year from now when Max Johnson passes Brennan on the depth chart or we are 8-4 because of Brennan's sub par QB play.

Why would you think it's funny we are struggling or a dedicated player just wasn't good enough to beat out the competition. I'm all for best man up. If that's someone other than Brennan so be it, but you're shitting on a kid who has been all LSU since high school. He could have tried to transfer but he took his time. Is learning from Burrow and hopefully he steps up next year. Why you chose to shite on him without even giving him a chance is beyond me.

Post less, A LOT less.

I’m sure ur boss at the local trash company prolly said the same thing, “boy that Bobby really had the it factor, but Jim doesn’t sling em like that ole baw”. Amirite?!

Matt Flynn, u heard of him? Tell me ole wise one, did YOU think he had the it factor? Something to be said of a young man for sitting back and better learning his craft while awaiting his turn. GDT’s!

Yes it was.

People seem to be inferring that O was throwing shade but I'm not sure that that's exactly what was going on.

I know I'll get chastised but I knew he was special from the moment I watched the ohio state clips and him in that tire tug a war with now starting MLB at OSU. I've been on board from the get go and the faith is only getting stronger. He is the smartest player on the field every game

Brennan just doesnt look like he has the it factor.

Agreed. Now the coach doesn’t even have his back it appears.

Competition is good. Just bc you’re riding the bench doesn’t mean you’re the next man up at the start of the season. Maybe he’ll grow into his role as a starting QB but who knows

Thanks for backing me up!

It is like people think that is what I want coach o to say and think. Hell NO i don’t. I am just pointing it out, I don’t think coach o did that on purpose and probably wishes after the fact that he would have worded it differently. Either way that is an unintentional shot at Brennan which kinda sucks a little. Just hope he continues to learn and improve from Joe teaching him so that next year it isn’t a huge drop off.

What should he say? The qb competition is settled, its gonna be myles next year? When this season isnt even over yet? You think he is pitching to DJ ugalelei that if he would only flip to LSU he can wait behind Brennan? Come on man.

Eta: this is not a knock on Brennan btw. I do think will start next year and do a great job. Just pointing out that of course he needs to win the job first.

Gawd im pulling for Brennan but i see alot of Brandon Harris in him in what he has shown in a very small sample size these last two years.... He has to learn to put some touch on some of his passes and must get way more comfortable in the pocket...

I wish Brennan the best but I don’t look forward to him calling the plays next year.

I think brennan can be a good qb because he will have another year under his belt in this system and knowing he will be the man, but i think he's going to have to work at it.

Competition is coming and if he doesn't perform we have another guy to step in and take his job.

We saw what greatness looks like and that's what we're striving to achieve.

Brennan is going have to man up.

Why show your hand when you don't have to?! Brennan is the Joker. Coach O is playing Belichick/Parcels/Saban games when theses fools.

I am satisfied with what I have seen (not much I know) from Brennan to believe he can at worst direct the offense and keep the offense productive.

That's all you can hope for with a new QB.

Brennan didn't set records in Mississippi throwing underhand. He has a cannon and is pretty accurate .

Arguably? There is no argument. The only argument is whether he is the greatest football player in LSU history.

He set records against weak competition hence why he didn’t have an impressive offer sheet. He may or may not be good but I don’t think O has ever been sold on him to be honest.
