DAMAGE done to Daniels’ actual NIL far exceeds any gain he’d get from the c & d letter

I have a tough time believing he actually had much to do with this. This has his mom written all over it. But the irony is that based on all the blowback he’s done far more damage to his nil than anything he THOUGHT he stood to gain from sending that letter. Whoever is advising (or not advising) the Daniels camp got this one completely wrong. How could they not see that this would be nothing more than a HORRIBLE look and major distraction?

~ $25,000 - $50,000 a year if LSU stops selling his jersies and liscensed merchandise.

You can downvote numbers all you want, but his NFL NIL won't be affected much, and what I posted is about as much money as he'll make per year from LSU merch. A $140 jersey nets him $3.92 per.

Blake tried to tell his camp last week. Think he's tight with JDs brother.

This definitely blew up in their faces! He let them destroy everything he built in one day! We'll see a 30for30 on this one day!

JD and LSU separate. Both will be very successful with or without each other. LSU can take his image down in the QB room, and he can move on and never mention LSU again, always talking about his Heisman, but everyone knows where he played when he got it, and all the highlights show him in an LSU uniform. Maybe they should never show his Heisman highlights since it was at LSU?

Just move on and let him be. He will be fine, and LSU will eventually be fine.

He hasn't put out a statement saying this was a dumb move and that his "team" let him down.

He gets 100% of the heat.

shite. Just dump him. LSU and Joey Belle has no connection to each other anymore even with his success here. I know it's baseball and not football. Tell him the Heisman stays here though. He can go get beat up in Washington for a few years and then decide if he made the right decision

If he makes the playoffs, no one in the DC market will care

Doesn't matter. He's a grown man, he's one of the most elite athletes in the most athletic sports league in the world, and he's a public figure worth 8 figures. Even if he didn't even know it was happening (which I'm sure he did), he needs to own it 100%.

That's the part that's most telling to me, he hasn't owned it or denied it, just a lame IG post.

Do you think he has made more money off of LSU jerseys or NFL jerseys?

This is so out of nowhere and random and out of character. I’m weirdly more pissed off than I probably should be. Feels like a betrayal out of nowhere.
