So continuing to sell LSU jerseys with Daniels #5 is the problem. Jerseys are sold everywhere with numerous athlete names and numbers on NFL jerseys, college jerseys in multiple sports. It’s never been an issue until this NIL crap came to life.

That was one of the things they brought up when they were pushing for NIL in the first place.
NFL players get money from their jersey sales
Colleges looked at their best player every year and sold a nameless jersey with their number and sold thousand like people randomly wanted #9 one year.
But really, when we sell his jersey he probably deserves a cut. I cant imagine we’re selling that many anymore but sure. but that letter wasn’t about that.
