Does it have to do with getting Sue Gunters name on it also?

Doesn’t matter. They’re just temporary placeholders for Kim Mulkey Court

Good, freak Tim Brando and his love for Dale Brown after going after Will Wade last year.

Yes, some of the Board members are already trying to rename the court after Sue Gunter and Brown instead of just Brown...one year after already voting to name the court after Brown. This is also being endorsed by the University President. It is an absolute disgrace but typical when it comes to LSU and anything related to men's basketball.

Hey - let’s name a court after a long time cheater. I bet that NOT A SINGLE season between 1977 and 1998, he didn’t have at least one player on his team where he didn’t cheat to get that player or keep him.
I know this personally. You can down vote all you want.
That is who got honored

Jordy said a few weeks ago that governor Edwards personally called the board of supervisors and voiced his opinion about adding Gaunter’s name to the court and President Tate is leaning that way at the moment and board of supervisors have enough votes to add her name with Dale.

who really gives a shite? No one calls it the Pete Maravich Assembly Center at dale brown court anyway. Hand out as many participation trophies you want for the court name, everyone will only refer to it as the PMAC. Its a stupid tradition

I also support this mainly because it probably stings daddy dale's ego

Dale Brown doesn't even deserve the court named after him. What did he do that's worthy of that honor besides accumulate talent and fall short of expectations.

IMO, Sue Gunter was not a good enough HC at LSU to warrant naming anything after her. She was almost fired and had to hire Bob Starkey as her chief asst and Pokey Chapman as her recruiter to keep her job. Her success those last 2 seasons was based primarily on the work/efforts of Chapman and Starkey.

Gunter already has a statue on campus and she never even won a conference championship while at LSU.

I love hearing Dale Brown speak but I'm not sure the court should be named after him and I do not even care about alleged or proved cheating. I just do not think the accomplishments are there. Same for Sue Gunter. Both very important pieces of LSU basketball history but I'm not sure naming things after them is warranted. In all honesty I think Skip is probably the only coach who deserves something named after him in the big 3 sports.

The trend of giving a name to a court or field is so lame. It’s the PMAC who gives a shite what they name the court and neither sue Gunter or Dale brown accomplished anything to have shite named after them. No one but the announces use the court/field names so it just means we all have to hear them talk more than they need to

The LA House needs to form a "January 4th" investigating committee.
