Lost in all of this, are we all of a sudden saying that our current roster has zero tight ends that could make an NFL roster? Because this guy couldn’t.

Naw it’s the samething. LSU pays a lot to compete, we could do that and not exploit rules we didn’t create or we can be smart and exploit them.
Oh no the media is crying about us, who cares? It’s not bad PR for recruits that LSU is willing to win.
I think the rules are dumb but the ncaa put themselves in this position over and over. You either do like Saban did with his shadow staff because it was allowed or you get left behind. 2019 winning was much more fun than losing under BK.

Honestly I think Kiffin thinks a lot of these rules are dumb reading between the lines in some of his pressers. I think he eventually hopes they are corrected but will exploit the bell out of them to both win now and maybe overturn the entire system of shite in the process.

He does but unlike Dabo he is smart and understands not using the rules to his advantage is a mistake that gets LSU less wins and him ultimately fired.
Saban probably thought the shadow staff being unlimited and the rules around that were dumb but he used it.
Smart people understand what the rules are, they can agree or disagree with them but if you know the rules you can use them.
I expect coaches at LSU to win and I expect them to use all legal avenues to do so.

It’s really laughable how dumb the Michigan fans are and really almost all the big ten fans are when it comes to anything regarding the sec.
For as bad of a boogie man LSU is, we didn’t clearly cheat to win a title, we didn’t then allow a coach to coach while we covered up things and only report on it once it became advantageous for us to do it to fire him with cause.
Arkansas fired a much better coach for basically what Michigan allowed Moore to do until they realized he sucked. The big ten fans really live in the glass house with their sex scandals and cheating at a whole different level than the sec.

Not playing by the rules at hand because you think they’re dumb is one quick as way to get replaced by someone who will. Lane didn’t write this rule book and is just using it. Much rather use it to our advantage than call our coach an idiot cause he doesn’t know what he’s doing and go 7-5 for the next decade.

And fans stop watching or donating to your schools cause ticket sales and revenue are a lot louder than crying on a message board!
