Meanwhile, my wife who is an employee of the university, has to mask up at all time with 50% capacity even though everyone is vaccinated.

Guess they are trying to keep attendance consistent with the product on the field, otherwise they were going to have an extremely poor showing for the remaining games. Good move to get rid of the dumb mandate.

Agreed. Of course it was stupid to begin with, but they canned it. Did they have ulterior motives for canning it, probably, but they canned it anyway. May as well take the win and be happy about it.

ABOSOLUTELY
They were staring down the potential of a program with apathy setting in ahead of an 11:00 am kickoff for the next home game. The fanbase couldn't be bothered to stick around in a close NIGHT game vs Auburn....and that was when there was some degree of optimism returning to the program. It is already going to be a (relative) ghost town in TS next week. Unnecessarily prohibiting some degree of your fanbase that might actually want to attend was only going to make that worse.

I went to the Central Michigan and Auburn game and I never even saw one of the check in sites, literally walked right in for both games. It was a joke.
