If things get crazy

LSU wins out
Auburn wins out
Alabama loses to LSU and Auburn
TX A&M wins all the rest but LSU

9-2 LSU
10-2 Alabama
10-2 Auburn
10-2 TX A&M

What happens then?

LSU and Auburn would only have 1 conference loss, the others would have 2. Auburn beat us, auburn goes.

Auburn only has 1 SEC loss. They go to Atlanta if they win out.

LSU will only have 1 loss in the conference. Our other loss was to Wisconsin, who is not in the SEC. C'mon man!!!

If LSU wins out and Auburn wins out them Auburn goes to SEC Championship.

Out of conference games don't matter.

Your math is messed up. LSU and auburn win out then it's a tie with auburn taking the tie break due to beating LSU. They all have the same overall record but not in SECW

Auburn goes to the SEC Championship, since Clemson isn't in the SEC???

Umm...wouldn't be a fourway tie. Auburn gets in over LSU due to head to head. LSU and Auburn would only have one conference loss, their other losses are to nonconference opponents, dummy.

auburn and lsu would both have one conference loss. auburn owns the tie breaker against us.

it's essentially a two horse race. auburn wins.

I forgot about only 1 conference loss for both LSU and Auburn.

Does 2 get in the playoff under that scenario?

That would be 4 top 10 teams.

Yep. We need to win out and we need Alabama over Auburn.

We get into the SECCG over a 1 loss Alabama because we both have 1 conference loss and we have Head-to-head tiebreaker.

How would it be crazy? We would be 7-1 in SEC play along with Auburn. A&M and Alabama would be 6-2 in SEC play.

Auburn wins the SECW and would steamroll Florida in the SECCG.

the answer is "maybe"

Auburn would be in the driver's seat for the playoff spot, but would need a win over the SEC East champion

Alabama and LSU might have a claim to another playoff spot barring some losses by out-of-conference teams, and the committee would decide which of the two get in. I'd bet on Alabama getting in, but they might give LSU some credit for the complete turnaround after Les's ouster.

The only way a 2-loss SEC team makes the Playoffs is as Conference Champion.
