The players are no longer prisoners to the university. This is a great thing. Accept change

Some of you act surprised. The day the law changed it was over. Wake up

That’s a whole different set of rights and privileges you are alluding to. What is being afforded to the players now are luxuries and has nothing to do with changing the rules because their rights are being infringed upon.

Sports continuously fricking themselves

I'm pretty much down to playoff Astros and Braves games, some Nascar races, and a few boxing and MMA fights that only involve a couple fighters

Hell of a business model to run off your customers, it's almost like a Dim is in charge

Things change. You can pine for the past, if you'd like, but I recommend coming to terms with the present and appreciating it for what it is.

And, frankly, players should have always been able to both receive compensation and transfer with ease.

I am not bashing the guy, and I still pull for him on Sundays, but when Ja’marr Chase sits out his junior year for no reason, then gets drafted No. 5 overall, that’s when college football’s value plummeted.

No more players like Major Ogilvie playing for the same school seven years.

If you were old enough to have experienced it you would think differently. This goes for our society at large. Not just sports.

Power to the people, sorry you don’t like it when the actual players get a little bit of power over their futures.

When was the last real year of college football? I’m thinking 2011.

Adapt or die. Like it or not it’s not the 1950s anymore.

The good ole days were sane. Now you are going to have 19-20 year old kids running the show with agents pulling the strings by proxy

I agree. The playoffs, transfer portal, and NIL have killed the sport. Now it’s just like the NFL-a bunch of mercenaries. I’m not nearly

Safe to say that the never ending pursuit of MORE money ruined the game, right?

The NIL has not even been effect a year yet. Wait till the agents out there learn how to play the game / bend the rules. It's only going to get worse.

Not sure when that quote was but 60 years ago guys like Stingley, Ricks weren’t allowed to step foot on a campus like LSU, but someone fought for their rights and privileges

Really? You are playing the race card?

Do you have any idea how moronic you sound comparing people who have legitimately been oppressed to stupid kids who have no discipline, fortitude, or commitment to anything or anyone?
