We're not great on defense. We're above-average for sure but we're giving up way too many big plays this year in the secondary. The secondary has been very disappointing while the dline is doing great considering they barely rotate. If you noticed they mostly start running out of gas by the 4th due to lack of depth. You can say the big plays in secondary are mental errors but it's happening every game so I'm going with scheme because just about every player in that secondary from last year has regressed. If you can't see it then you're blind, plain and simple. White made a great play in the endzone to prevent the TD but I hold breath every time I see them on the field to win a game.

We haven't exactly played any really good QBs this year outside Prescott. Like I said, he's the only QB that was the original starter and it seems teams are finding easy throws on our secondary. Florida is not a great offense. WKU will be a great test this weekend and yes, it's trap game because they're capable of beating LSU. They have one of the best offenses in the country. Good time to work on fixing our blown coverage and any mental errors.

We need to get better to get through this gauntlet. I hope Mills is 100% because we need him badly. Jefferson isn't getting it done.

These polls don't mean anything. The Dallas poll is the only one that counts.

The defense essentially have up 14 points and played well last night considering how good awful our special teams are.

I posted about this guy when he predicted Florida to win. His preseason pick is for bama to win it all and he has gone all in. If you read just the top 10 it all falls into place based on his belief that Bama is the true number 1. Right or wrong at this point in the season, he will adjust if we take care of business in November.

I suspect that his prediction of Bama winning it all and sticking with it has something to do with his site being dumped by Fox sports and subsequently Scout. If his preseason picks are correct he'll feel vindicated. Right now Bama, with only one loss, can still make the seccg and then the playoff.

Defense plays well early but seems to get complacent which might have a lot to do with depth as I mentioned above. Each time they get a big lead they let teams come back into the game. I'll agree that STs are a problem because at this point they're so god awful they might be among the worst in the country and at least enough to lose you a game which is unacceptable.

STs are definitely biggest concern but another that really bothers me is defense complete lack of adjustments at halftime all season. You don't think a team is going to go into half and point out exactly what you've been doing in the first to attack it? Mix it up a little.

Look, Alabama is the best team in college football and should be No. 1, but it’s not possible to go by what’s happened so far and make it so. With that in mind, based solely on records and schedules so far, this is what the College Football Playoff committee has to do.

Seem a little biased.

Florida's last offensive score came with 8 minutes to go n the third quarter.

There are three teams that could beat LSU right now....

Baylor, Bama, and Clemson......

But none of them can beat us when/if they play us. We'll be ready.

Yeah except you're wrong. Harris was the original starter until a suspension when Grier was put in to the starting roll. So Harris is was the "original" starter then Johnson at Auburn was and has been the original starter. Your ignorance is outstanding sir.

If you just read the summary the guy was pretty spot on. Plus 2 for UF in TO and couple easy TD, tight game, etc.

LSU has as good a claim as anyone to be the best team in the country, despite what you wish to believe.

No one works as hard as you to denigrate what LSU does right, week in, week out. You are hilarious .

They've also said multiple times in this link that Alabama is really the best team so I wouldn't be too excited about this.

If by hilarious, you mean sad and pathetic, I guess you're right.

How can some people here be so insufferably awful all the time?

Be careful talking about the secondary. I brought it up last night questioning if it was a scheme problem or personnel problem and the ranter experts voiced how stupid I was for questioning it. Fact is, every team we have played has had success passing on us, specifically on 3rd down conversions. Are we the worst? Hell no. Could we be better? Absolutely.

Pete Fiutak does a weekly segment on a Chicago radio show and he offers some good content, but never fails to mention that Ohio State and Bama are the 2 best teams in the country.

He thinks the only question in regards to both is whether or not they stay motivated enough to go undefeated until the playoff.
