2. LSU (6-0)

Finally, LSU has an excellent win to go along with the okay victory over Mississippi State. Getting by Florida sets the tone for the showdown against Alabama in early November, but first, the Tigers have to watch out for a dangerous WKU team and its high-powered attack.

Yup, WKU is not a team to sleepwalk on. They have a very good QB and offensive attack. Our defense hasn't been great all year. Capable but it needs to get better just like Harris has shown on offense. We've played only 1 original starter at QB and it was Dak Prescott. We've been fortunate so that leaves me very worried about our defense and obviously STs.

With our special teams woes we are not the #2 team in the country.

Agreed...Plus or secondary is suspect against a top flight QB.........

There are no perfect teams in college football. If we aren't in a pollester's top 4, he is an idiot.

It's scheme and depth is the issue on defense.

You don't have to be great in all 3 phases to be one of the top teams in the country.

There are three teams that could beat LSU right now....

Baylor, Bama, and Clemson..

And of course themselves..............

We may be even with those woes. When you have a special talent like Fournette running behind a really good O-line, a blossoming QB that can run, protect the ball and move the chains when needed and a D ranked in the top 10 in run defense, you have a really good chance at beating anyone in the country.

Nice gesture, but any ranking that still has Ole Miss in the top 10 loses a lot of credibility.

Very few teams' fans would still complain after beating a top ten, undefeated team, but ours dig deep to find something to whine about.
