The only reason people think this is because when he does win a big game the narrative changed that it wasn't really a big game. When he loses then people pump their chest saying he can't win a big one. It's a tired narrative that isn't true.

I never saw this year as the football team being a real contender for NC. Now next year, I have high hopes. Nuss's senior year, Sloan more comfortable with the O and Baker having another year to develop a decent D.

My personal opinions FWIW:

Orgeron - Helped orchestrate the greatest season in CFB history then fumbled his dream job away. I don't hate him, I appreciate what he did but was ok with him getting fired.

Miles - We loved him until we found out he was a predator and terrible human being.

Saban - I respect him and appreciate what he did for LSU.

Dinardo - I loved him and still do. He was the first to bring back the "magic". His only downfall was his loyalty to his staff. Still a great hire in my opinion.

Hallman - yeah, hated.

Archer - Disliked because he took a great team and went backwards.

Hey everyone, I'm a long time LSU fan from the days of when Mike Archer was coaching from TN. I've seen LSU many times over the years, at Vandy and at UT. I watched LSU win the SEC Championship in 2007. I also watched them against UNC in 2010 among many other times. All that being said, I've only been to Death Valley once, and that was in 2017 to watch them play Arkansas at 11am.

Needless to say, I'm excited to see them at night in Death Valley this Saturday against UForfeit. My brothers and I will be there the day before and we are planning on living it up. My question is, what do you all recommend for tailgating spots? Are there any good public spots people recommend? What are some great places to go?

If Saban retires Kelly could get him to coach DB's. I heard he was a good DB coach at one time.
