Henry and Hill are going to have surgeries but everyone in the media is putting them in next season's rotation to keep some post-super regional loss heat off of Mainieri. Good luck

It was his bicep that was bothering, he came off the field and Paul asked how he felt and he said, "not good" and pointed to his bicep.

Hill already had one surgery, for something unrelated to his strained UCL. But it happened like a week ago. He was shut down long before that, why wait so long?

Pitching could really be a strength next year IF all the pieces are healthy.

Because that surguery was unrelated to him pitching. There was a chance he could have come back. Once it was known he couldn't come back, he had the surguery. You are now picking some stupid crap to rag on.

So they didn't know until right around May 31st that Hill wasn't going to pitch again this season? You sure?

It was reported he was going to try to pitch in the SECT. Are you saying that was a lie?

Could Hill have hit? I know it’s common that superstar players are great all around, but I remember several people discussing that earlier this year.

This was their plan all along, so obviously he wasn’t progressing or something happened late in the season.

It wasn’t a lie. They were hoping he would recover much quicker. But he wasn’t progressing as quickly as hoped. They kept pushing the timeline back. Eventually, when it was clear he wouldn’t be ready for the post season, they decided to remove the screws, which would’ve happened after the season was over.

Hill was in uniform for some of the last road series.
He wouldn’t have been there if they weren’t trying to get
him ready to pitch again this season.

Once they saw that he wasnt going to be able to go in the SEC Tournament is when he was shut down completely. That last sim game that he was supposed to throw on that Friday, when that didnt happen, he was shut down. Not before, and not after.

So Hill’s surgery was simply to remove screws?

The injury was to take out some screws he had inserted after a football injury. They did not impede his pitching and the recovery will not stop him from pitching next year. The surgery was not scheduled until after he had been shelved for the year.

Yes, he had been throwing and was scheduled to pitch but it didn't work out. Where have you been?

So, #ProfessionalPosterChrisReid, what are your plans now that you're done with high-level baseball? It seems that now's the time to strike with endorsements, local small businesses, etc. to capitalize on the recognition and become #ProfessionalBusinessmanChrisReid before the Q rating drops out and the opportunity isn't there any more.
