Was he supposed to get an MRI today?

No doubt they'll get his glass arm glued back together before next season and I'm sure he'll be good for two or so starts before another repair is needed.

According to those MRIs, there is nothing wrong with his arm either. So how do you explain that?

I’m not putting his medical history on here but I assure you it’s not toughness. It’s a legit injury.

Have a hard time believing that something wasn't physically wrong. Biggest stage of his life thus far and his velocity obviously down. That's the stage players live for. Can't believe he got chapped lips and quit.

If it wasn’t something wrong, his velocity wouldn’t have been down. You don’t lost velocity when you’re playing the most important game in your short career.

Exactly. If he was throwing 94 and wild you could say he choked, but when his velocity didn't appear by the second inning something was physically wrong.
