Do you really think LSU should be ranked any higher than 16? Hell no , they just got their asses kicked . Besides LSU has a chance to beat Bama( highly unlikely) in 2 weeks.

There are 5 2 loss teams in the top 25. LSU is the second highest ranked behind Bama(14) and ahead of Ole Miss (18), Mizzou(23) and Illinois(24). LSU is also ahead of unbeaten Pitt(17)

This coupled with an also unlikely A&M slip up vs SC or Auburn would erase last night’s loss.
They aren’t out of it yet but that LSU-Bama game is certainly an elimination game for each side. Winner stays alive. Loser is off to the cheese itz bowl

Bama lost by 5, and it was their first loss.
LSU lost by 15, and it was their 2nd loss (let's not forget that the 1st was to a Bad USC team that's getting beat by teams like frickin Maryland and Minnesota).
Quit crying about an 8 spot drop after a shite performance. LSU didn't look like a #16 team, let alone a team that belongs in the Top 15. It's amazing that they were even in the Top 10, honestly, because they haven't looked like a Top 10 team most of the season.

UGA, Texas, Tennessee, Alabama, A&M.
UGA plays Tennessee, one will lose.
Texas plays A&M, one will lose.
We play Alabama, so we have that in our hands.
If we win out, we're no worse than 3rd. And if someone beats A&M, if we win out we finish no worse than a tie for 1st in the SEC
