Well, in fairness, he did say that. But, without the context around it it sounds terrible. I didn't have a problem at all with his answer to that question.

If you even try to dispute that Dave Aranda isnt one of the top defensive coordinators in the country, I highly question your football IQ. If you want to speak of stats, his defenses are always in the top 15 in the country, some of which were composed of walk ons and 1 stars at Wisconsin. If we had an offensive coordinator that could produce even top 25 offenses, we wouldnt be having these discussions at all at this point. O hired someone drastically under qualified for the position and promised the fan base he would bring in the best coordinators. He should be held accountable.

I agree. I have also never seen a press conference for any team that wasn't full of rah rah crap...we expect to play for championships etc at every power 5 school

no, but coach O thought he would be the best OC for this team at the time the hire was made. At the end of the season Coach O will evaluate a lot of things with one of those being is Coach Ensminger the best choice moving forward into the 2019 season. He may like what we have coming back on offense and like the continuity of not starting all over again with a new OC brings or may decide to go in another direction. We will find out in the future as he is not going to fire him right now (or I would be very surprised if he did)

It's crazy to me that people are still on board with the strategy of a CEO head coach that hires the very best coordinators when Orgeron has made two very questionable OC hires in his first two years.
