Has it struck anyone that Coach O was living the ultimate BAW life-style, as of late? He did things a lot of folks here say they'd like to see public figures do, but it appears most have turned their backs on him. It's curious.

It seems Ed Orgeron lived the way a lot of posters here advocate as the peak of manliness. While Drew Brees bowed to angry teammates in the wake of his criticism of players kneeling during our national anthem, Orgeron stood firm in his support of President Trump following the Black Lives Matter protests in Summer 2020.

Orgeron looked to slay poon left and right following his divorce, often with much younger women. He's made tons of money; even more than plant operators. He's threatened to dump guys in alligator pits and once questioned a guy's sexuality based solely on the color of his shirt.

Hell, if he had a New Iberia haircut, Orgeron would be the living personification of these boards. It's a cautionary tale of what happens when keeping it real goes wrong, I suppose.

If we were winning, it would be a bit easier to stomach. Hell, if we just looked prepared, it would be easier to stomach.

Brees was pummeled here relentlessly for not sticking to his guns over the anthem issue. Orgeron had the backbone to pooh-pooh his players' cries of racial injustice, but some here wish he'd have pretended to care about their "plight" just to facilitate more wins on the field. It's interesting to ponder...

Ding ding ding!!

We wouldn't give a shite if he was winning. I honestly don't give a shite about his personal life now. It's the fact that he can't balance his personal life and getting results on the field.

Real Baws hunt and bring something back to cook. O is a camp dog type Baw, he just drinks, chases tail and does the dishes.

I liked coach O. Hell I would do what he did but probably x10. But also knowing my deficiencies, think I would have took the time to hire the right coordinators. You know maybe interview them first or something. That’s kinda important…….

But the team quit on him. 15 starters out is bs. Why doesn't bama or uga have a dozen players out.

Coach O is probably one of the ultimate baws, anyone who knows very much about him, going back to his college days, knows that LSU Coach O is the same Ed Orgeron that he has always been, with a few public position induced refinements.
Anyone who was around Northwestern State during the time that O and Bobby Hebert were there knows that O ran the bars and clubs and kicked a@$ and took names and if you didn’t like it, he’s fight your a$$ for not liking it.
He was raised by Ed Sr and Mrs Coco to not take crap, to be a man, not a wimp or a wuss and that’s how he has lived his life and that’s how he will live the rest of his life. You heard him say in the press conference he hasn’t changed and he’s not gonna change and he believes everything he did as head Coach of LSU was right and good, now was it all perfect, no. Did he make some mistakes, yes obviously, but you noticed he wouldn’t admit mistakes at LSU and in his heart and mind, he truly thinks everything he did was done well enough that he would repeat it if he had the chance, that’s why he said he wouldn’t change a thing.
A guy from South Louisiana that grew up loving LSU football, was good enough to get a scholarship to play at LSU and kept a passion in his heart to come back to LSU and he actually got to live that dream, won a national championship, can say he coached arguably the best college team and season in college football history and got paid almost $20 million American dollars to do it while getting to live right down the road from his mom and family and still enjoy women, the bayou, food and drinks.
I’d say Ed O is one of the true LA baws and I’m ok with that, I hate that things have turned the way they have but I’ll be thankful for Coach O’s 2019 season the rest of my baw days.

No doubt. You give me a BAW who is good at coaching football and I have no choice but to accept and embrace it. But if the BAW can't win games then it's definitely not as cool.

LSU has run the gammit of head coaches here. They've had the goat, then a cartoon character come to life, and finally a caricature of a South Louisiana Man's Man. Maybe the next guy will be a normal human being who knows modern Xs and Os.
