Yeah not super familiar with LA divorce law but this would be the only state where

quote:

Orgeron filed the divorce petition Feb. 26 in East Baton Rouge Parish Family Court, stating he and his wife separated Feb. 24 “and have lived separate and apart without reconciliation since that date.”

Is enough time for separation before filing

It’s not. LA requires more time than that.

Not the case. You can either file first, then wait the 6 months or a year OR wait the time first then file after the time has run.

None of us can blame Kelly for trying to frick Joe after that season. Hell Shrimp Goat probably tried too. I can't blame anyone who tried!

No shite.

It says they have been living separate and apart since February 24th, which isn’t enough time to be granted a final divorce in La...except in a Fault Divorce...

you go to McDonald’s for law school? Unless there was a prenuptial, which I bet there wasn’t, she will get a lot more. Rosy Finch is gonna pay.

She was likely getting a big stick while he was on the road or living in BR during the week and got caught.
That’s the only way he files.

It requires more time for a judgment of divorce to be granted. There's no issue with filing the petition at this point.

Sigh.

I am well aware. I was referring to someone thinking the divorce was final and they needed to be living separate and apart longer or that they had to be separated before filing. Which is accurate.
