Any coach with a brain can watch ten minutes of film and see how poorly this team is coached and realize why the decision was made.

This was about a lot more than just football. O was a PR disaster. Dude had his side piece's kids running drills with the team and things like that

What you are missing is the fact that Coach O has shown no ability to correct what it wrong. He knows it's wrong but fails to correct it in a timely manner. In other words no game time adjustments. When teams make adjustments O does not counter or does not have his team prepared to counter.
For example Jack Mashburn should have been playing TE since game one. It was obvious Kole Taylor is a liability to the running game. Plus Jack can catch just as well if not better than Kole.
It's examples like this that make it difficult to see how O is capable of turning it around. He knows what is wrong he just doesn't know how to fix it. Good coaches know how to fix it.
On the 2019 team he relied on Aranda to fix it on defense and Burrow and Brady to fix it on offense. Aranda, Burrow, and Brady during 2019 allowed Coach O to go on cruise control.

Coach O should get a mulligan for last season because SO many of your marquee players opted out, and it was a strange season TBH.
The real coaches know this. They watch O and know how to improve us day 1.

never said O was USC's #1 target... you just should not terminate a coach after 1 bad season after he brings you a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP and the GOAT LSU team in 2019
