So does Tulane and jmu... silly to waste these weeks on inferior teams that just can't compete
They beat 1 ranked team on the last play ND, lost to two ranked teams (UT and Miami)... they had a cakewalk schedule... no one shld really be surprised

TTU cld be another that played similar schedule against no ranked teams.

Shows 12 teams is silly.
#4 ranking is BS

AI Overview

Texas Tech's (TTU) 2025 strength of schedule (SOS) is generally considered relatively easy, with projections placing them among the weaker schedules in the Big 12 and nationally, thanks to avoiding top teams and a manageable non-conference slate, creating an opportunity for a strong season as noted by Heartland College Sports and CBS Sports. Various rankings show TTU in the middle to lower half of the FBS in difficulty, with some sources ranking their SOS around 59th to 75th nationally depending on the metric used, highlighting a favorable path.
Key Points on TTU's 2025 SOS:
Easy Path: Phil Steele and others identified TTU as having one of the easier Big 12 schedules, with opportunities to build momentum.
Favorable Non-Conference: They avoid a Power Four opponent before conference play, helping early season success.
Manageable Conference: They avoid some top contenders within the Big 12, creating a more accessible league schedule.
Statistical Rankings:
On3 placed TTU at 59th in strength of schedule in late 2025.
Sagarin ratings placed them around 75th in SOS, according to Reddit.
Sports Betting Dime ranked them 66th nationally with a -3.395 rating.
In essence, the 2025 schedule offers a prime opportunity for Texas Tech to capitalize on roster upgrades and make a strong push in the Big 12.
No top ten opponent, highest rank was today against 11 ranked byu which seems overrated.

Seeing TTU and Tulane and few others in the playoffs is comical as we sit at home not even close

Questioning JJ is just not smart

The hardest working and meticulous manager that totally gets it. He has a recipe for success. Humble and consistent leader.

I hope he stays at LSU for a while. Love how he is recruiting in these press conferences... bully pulpit is the best.
