“It’s good to be “struggling” and hitting over .300 as a team. The bar is super high. We lost a player that was worth 4 runs a game. We aren’t just going to 10 run everybody. Nothing that has happened so far has been a surprise to me at all.”

“Some of these guys need some time. There is no substitute for playing time.”

Hitting over .300 against a lot of teams with a fraction of the talent we have.

The question is what will happen with the offense in SEC play when we face elite pitching.

I agree with what he’s saying but 8 of 29 tonight wasn’t over .300

Are you saying this as if it’s a bad thing?

That's the question for every SEC team to be fair.

I'm not a Negatiger but some the production lately has been somewhat concerning as compared to the level of pitching they're facing.

What concerns me the most is that players like Kling aren't even making good contact.

Even Tommy White and Travinski have looked somewhat out of sync, even as good as they've been.

Wait... you think Travinski has looked out of sync?

Explain.

You no longer have to put down every other coach that isn’t mediocre Ed Orgeron is gone. Why are you trying to burn baseball - wait CPM is not there. You’re probably happy that basketball has struggled.

Two of these might be true, but what part of what I said is wrong?

When a coach says they are hitting over .300 as a team, they aren’t talking about 1 game

We’ve given up 5 total runs in our last 5 games. The pitching has been phenomenal and the offense hasn’t even really been struggling IMO.

Its not impressive when playing those Northern teams who have not been able to practice until they came South.

Pitchers get to practice (pitch) indoors throughout the country
