Clark played great. No expecting him in over Longstreet.

Longstreet is the long-term answer. Clark is the guy who could still get us to the playoffs if worse comes to worst

Kiffin keeps everything so close to the chest that I don’t think we really know much about the depth chart.

He looked like he was in complete control of the OFF. He knew where he wanted to go with the ball and was shifty in the backfield to buy some time or take off for yards. All of this with the backups too. Very impressed by the young man.

A few roster moves were unexpected.
*Everybody thought Jhase Thomas took Cooley's spot. I dont recall seeing him play much.
*Carpenter got the start over Ross and played well... but Ross will likely get SEC Defensive POW.
*Elzy starting at WR
*Berry falling on the depth chart.

I wasn’t surprised at all if you watch his highlights from Elon, you can tell this kid a Baller and if you listen to his interviews, he’s extremely confident young man

Clark's play style was just like Leavitt's. I liked what I saw. He can win games if needed.

I couldn’t agree more. I thought he had a very comparable opportunity with Chambliss in this offense. You can tell these coaches know how to coach a qb up in this system quickly. Clark is your 2027 starter imo and I’m about it.

This whole board was off on several things.
McKinley was supposed to be a depth piece, according to quite a few on here. He stated the game, and I believe he got the lion's share of the snaps
This coaching staff just does not give much away.

When Clark went in I wondered what was the largest crowd he had ever played before. I also thought Longstreet had probably played before big crowds before.
Knowing Lane leaves no stone unturned did he want to make sure Clark had been on the Big Stage at least once before perhaps needing Clark on the Big Stage later this year?
Also, Stacy Gage played before Durham or Berry. Durham and Berry have both played in TS before. Gage had limited time playing for UCF at Cincinnati and at KSU.
I suspect some decisions were made on who played based on who needed the Big Stage experience the most. Just my speculation.
