I liked Hawthorne, but I enjoy Blair as well. I believe this has been said before, but people are going to prefer different guys based on who they grew up listening to. As good as Hawthorne was, the dude astounded me with how he could get calls wrong.
I mean, how the frick do you confuse Devery Henderson for Jack Hunt?! One guys black, the other is white!

I really like Fowler. Dude is a pro and very good across multiple sports. Someone posted him and Kirk chatting after the game on their flight and it was really cool.

The ONLY redeeming quality he had as an announcer was back in the old days when you were scanning the radio dial, his voice was UNMISTAKABLY LSU. That's the ONLY reason some on here hold him in high esteem.

One of my favorite calls of his is from the Florida game in 2019.
