Dude, you don't seem to know anything about him. And it's alright to admit that, because most of us don't either. Just reading some basic biographical information on him says that you are wrong about him not being able to recruit, however.
I can't imagine how I would determine what kind of person he is, considering there doesn't seem to be any info on his personality, and neither you or I have met him.
Am I saying I want the guy here? I don't know enough about him, and haven't really looked at other candidates to offer a definitive answer on that. But I don't get why you are just randomly hating on the guy with nothing tangible to back it up.

You are completely out of your mind. Southern Miss has over achieved considerably. Look at the signing of the kid from Zachary. He was freaking dealing in their regional. I'm OK with Childress but could do better with Caillet. I trust Johnson to make his own hire even if it's not Childress, I'm just saying that would be a good pitching hire if true. Need another recruiter and developer as a hitting coach to go along with Johnson.
