I realizes the tweet is a joke, but I don't agree with this

quote:

If it wasn't seen by any of the umpires, it wasn't egregious enough to be direct taunting.

The taunting rules are dumb and go way too far; but it is possible for players to taunt the opposing team without being seen by the umps who have other aspects to pay attention to.

Just what we need is an ESPN talking point to constantly bring up when we beat their asses

Chase Burns Throat Slash Under Review by NCAA

Gay.

Skenes waving off the hitter after strike outs is more taunting than what Burns did

Early this morning, Tony Vitello received word that Chase Burns throat slashing gesture last night will be under review by the NCAA board this week. If the board determines it was a direct taunting to USM, he could face suspension during part of the World Series in Omaha.

What a dummy

It's from a troll account. The dummy is the person who posted this like it was a real news story.

Satirical.

I’ve never seen so many LSU fans get upset over a throat slash that had nothing to do with them, when LSU had a player yell frick you pussy directly to an opposing pitcher.

One of his other gems

All 3 Knoxville area Applebee’s have announced they will be hosting a watch party for each Tennessee Baseball game this weekend.

Regional manager Deuce Scranton says they want to make sure Tennessee fans get a fine dining experience that they would never get in Hattiesburg.

Throat slash was a bit much regardless. He looked psycho.

If someone's feelings were hurt, he should get the death penalty.

That is absolutely terrible by the NCAA.

Having said that, I recommend they move forward with the suspension.

If true, that person is a dumbass of biblical proportions.

Your point makes no sense at all.

That's to say if someone shot and killed someone but it wasn't seen then it wasn't really bad at all.

This isn't any worse than what Angel Reese did and most on here supported her. Let the boys play.

You are comparing tapping her ring finger in the opponent’s face to a slitting the throat gesture?

The big problem isn't sportsmanship. The NCAA had to pay OJ a royalty.

No. But if that's the analogy you're coming up with, I'm not surprised you don't understand.

A throat slashing gesture holding a knife is different than a hand jester across the throat neck is different.

So you think if he was facing his teammates, it’s not really an indication of a taunt to the opposing team?
