Implement a split veer offense. 6 plays. like novacaine, just give it time, it always works.

If the split veer features two yard drags on third and long we're already 1/6 of the way there!

Kelly has already said they are doubling down on tweaking the passing game.

They gave up on running the ball before the season even began.

My least favorite Kelly-ism when trying to explain how to improve the run game is "you just have to commit to it". No, you have to have a physical mentality which pretty much the entire line does not.

Sounds like we're working on the passing game. Kelly knows we have to be able to pass against 8 men in coverage from here on out. USC is liable to drop all 11 though so I hope he's working on passing against 11 too

Relax man. Sloan was just keeping the playbook closed until USCe.

It's on now!

Their mentality is "what the frick am I supposed to do on this play?" ... because they don't know ... because no one on this staff knows how to teach them.

Passing the ball 65% of the time is an interesting way to commit to it

Do any of you really think there will be changes?

When we played USCe last year we were basically getting out coached on both sides of the ball. It took Baker making huge adjustments, Sellers getting hurt, Perkins going off, and Durham putting the offense on his back to win.

Look, at Ole Miss this year Baker got out coached, this is the unfortunate truth. Doesn’t happen often and you have to give Kiffin & WiseJr credit. Golding absolutely out coached Sloan to the point of embarrassment. To expand, Sloan was out coached by freaking La Tech, we just had superior athletes. The trend will continue, there are no other variables saying otherwise.

Now, with two weeks to prepare certainly expectations of evolution/improvement are present. I’d give us a 50/50 chance of seeing anything different. We are hampered by an inefficient QB and confused OL with personnel issues.

The USCe coaching staff is above average. They are doing more with less at every position except for QB this year. Their defense is pretty stout against the pass and can really pressure the QB. It is also likely the best QB (passing/rushing) we have faced all season which is our kryptonite.

If we cannot stop Sellers and the offense continues the same performance we will lose to USCe in a night game at Death Valley. What have you all seen to make you think we can stop Sellers or improve on offense? It’s glaring.

The D was pretty gassed after all the 3nouts.

Should be practicing how to counter the 3-3-5 defense with 8 in coverage, that’s gonna be defense all of our future opponents play until they prove they can attack that defense

I heard they are adding a new RPO where its basically 4 Verts but the QB has a draw option. This is based on complaints from the rant.

No. I do not. At all. They will continue to run the same plays with the sam personnel and hope for the best.

Implement something that allows us to actually run the ball against a 3-man line when all the numbers are in our favor.
