Hear this every time the national media references this game. Rece Davis asks him why he stayed as they’re strolling around the square. Chambliss says he loves the people in Oxford.
We all know you were packing your bags for Baton Rouge. Remember that press conference during the playoffs after Lane left, when you were asked if you were going to stay?
But then you guys won 2 games and portal entry was delayed, and eligibility uncertainty remained, and you had no other choice but to stay at Ole Miss.
Pepperidge Farm remembers…

Is it even possible for this guy to play with a “revenge” factor over his coach leaving, when he intended to go with him?

I think your main issue is believing what is said in the media. Rarely does that actually reflect the relationships or truths in a situation.

Get over the media drama and just watch some football.

He probably doesn’t make our team if he transfers.

Could you imagine the national media and SEC headquarters outrage if Lane Kiffin walked with Trinidad in hand after a Georgia loss, while gaining eligibility through a kangaroo court in Louisiana? The public would have a stroke over the advantages Lane Kiffin would have with a 6th year quarterback.

Would the SEC step in for poor little Trinidad?

This is the point that keeps getting swept under the rug. No way would his lawsuit have held water had he transferred to LSU.

As far as Kewan not coming, Ole Miss pitched it to him as “Look what OM fans are doing to Lane, if you go to LSU they will do the same thing to you”. So Kewan stayed in OM.

First time I’ve ever heard of such a bizarre recruiting tactic, and it worked.

There’s no way that judge in Jackson grants him a bogus year of “eligibility” if he decides to come to BR, so the point is moot.

He chose to stay because Ole Miss threw a bunch of money at him.

Funny how LSU’s roster spend is a media talking point but Ole Miss spent close to the same amount.

Yeah, those interviews are a load of bullshite.

Anyone with a brain realizes. That Chambliss got "that phone call". From the SEC....This lawfare didn't take the governing bodies by surprise. They knew all this shite would happen.

The SEC are the only ones that held the power to stop him from playing. Just like they did with threating to kick LSU out of the SEC for playing "ineligible" players. Those TRO's didn't mean shite to the SEC. Like in the way they punked the NCAA.

Trinidad was threatened that if he chose to leave Ole Miss for LSU that the SEC would come down on them so hard that he wouldn't get that 6th year. There will be books written by them about this one day and the truth will come out.

We can blame Georgia for being a bunch of choke artists and not getting the job done in the playoffs.

No. You can blame the powers that be.

There's absolutely no way they would have let Chambliss get away with coming to LSU with Lane.

They would have 100% kicked us out the SEC for using an "ineligible" player. The narrative wouldn't have been about "NFL" players. The media would've shredded him for being a 6-year player for a fake and made-up medical condition with ZERO proof. He absolutely would not be the media darling that he is right now. He knew that would've been a horrible career choice because he would've been demonized. Instead of worshipped.

But instead, we get the homosexual love fest narrative about how much he loves Ole Miss and Oxford. bullshite.

Ole Miss are the biggest cheaters in the entire landscape of college football this year. They should have to vacate all these wins once the SCSA passes.

NCAA/SEC would have ruled him ineligible had he transferred to LSU and the SEC would have similarly threatened LSU like they did this fall.
