Switch LSU for Penn State is about right. Should be a great game. Not sure where Clempson should be, but probably not #1. You can't put UT in the top 5 without a proven QB and mop up duty doesn't count. This top 5 just doesn't feel right. No bama and no UGA.

If anyone thinks we going into Clemson and winning that game, yall will be sadly disappointed. I believe this years team will be the best team since Kelly took over. This team will be in the playoffs and make a run to an SEC title but our offensive line is the week spot on this team and Clemson's Dline is loaded with NFL talent and I don't believe Nuss having to throw it 45-50 times with no running game can beat a team like Clemson on the road.

The biggest problem I see with this is if we lose to them, but Clemson turns out to just be an 8-4 kinda team. If we lose a close game to them and they finish 11-1 we should be fine.

This will be our toughest opener under the Kelly era. He hasn't done well so far in openers, and I really don't expect this one to be different.
My hope comes in Nuss we trust! If he has learned to tuck and run for a few positive yards, and can extend drives, eat clock, and score, then LSU wins. Gotta keep their offense off the field.

BK is not the problem the scheduler is. Deep into this transfer portal era scheduling good/great teams on the road for the first game is Russian roulette. Players need a game or two to adjust to their new team. In the old days only true feshman were new to the team and weren’t counted until later in the season. Now transfers are counted on early, but there will be some adjustment period. Playing a top ranked Clemsy team on the road ignores that.
