I really hope we can drag our balls all over him and light him up

Not really means not really, not exclusively. Not sure your confusion. He'd be top 5-10% in the SEC. It's not really even that debatable. But so is eyanson so it doesn't mean we can't win.

“We’ve seen better in the SEC” obviously doesn’t mean “every pitcher in the SEC is better.” Not sure your confusion.

I’m confused. The only winning streak is LSU’s. I’d rather not end that

Add in 102 K's to 22 BB. Gonna be tough.

I say when they showed him in the dugout, he looked wide-eyed and nervous. I think he comes out wilder than normal.

quote:How do you know? So you're saying playing a schedule of consistent top 10 teams (LSU, Texas, Ark, Florida, Tennessee) - that he would finish with the exact same ERA? Highly, highly doubtful. I don't know that either, but I'm much more confident about that than saying his ERA would look just as good as though he's playing weaker competition throughout the season.
He'd be top 5-10% in the SEC. It's not really even that debatable.
And let's not forget that the hot streak they were on in the tournament really boosted and inflated his ERA a tad bit, just as the argument about their quad 1 wins.
And by the way, the other guy pitching in purple and gold on the mound is pretty fricking good too. And has been pretty unhittable among the nation's best hitters.

He don't think much of LSU student athletes

Go up there looking for fastballs in every count and swing. That's an approach we did not have last night.

Saw him in the hotel last night, he's fricked. Tigers by 5

We’ve seen better in the SEC. The Sun Belt competition greatly inflates that ERA
We have not seen better than that. He might be off today, and we rake, but if he goes to form Eyanson will have to be in top form.

You think Coastal has faced talent like LSU?
On average? No. But they have faced that since the Super Regionals and have been undefeated until they played the best team in the nation and held them to one run. Sounds pretty damn legit.
I think it’s obvious now that the best three teams in the country this year were LSU, Coastal and Arky, and probably in that order.

That's about a 3.80 ERA in the SEC

I'd like to see a few more attempts to manufacture runs today and I don't mean just sac bunts or another attempt to get caught in a run down to let a run score from home.
I have not seen every pitch of the CWS but I have seen ALOT and seen more than I have missed. If my memory serves me correctly only two runners have been thrown out attempting to steal and neither was really thrown out.
Jake Brown when he slipped and got hung up vs Arkansas and then Sebastain Alexander last night when he over-slid 3rd.
Bodine is a great catcher but you're up 1-0 and I would try to steal bit more, hit & run, etc.

Meet his sister at the hotel last night, randomly asked how their night was going in the elevator and chuckled. The guy responded not too well, I said at least you got your ace tomorrow and he said that’s her brother. She was kinda hot!

Yes, yes really. You people are so weak. You think Coastal has faced talent like LSU? No, they haven’t. You saw this tonight. Eyanson’s stats are better than Anderson’s but keep crying when we win tomorrow.
______
You don't know shite about Coastal. What is their SOS?

I'm not sure what the approach was. It looked like they were trying to run the count up on a guy who throws a ton of strikes. It seemed like nearly every AB was from behind in the count.
Coastal’s top of the bullpen is very very good. It wasn't like they were going to turn the game over to some bum.
