Good thing he went and got JD5, developed him, and is not at the same table as Billy?

What an absolute stupid ignorant moronic post! Might win the prize for the most ignorant post of all time. You see it was BK who went and got JD you know like Orgeron got Burrow, you know like Kiffen got Dart, you know like Beamer got Rattler, you know like Oregon got Nix and on and on and on.

It's just the fricking opposite you idiot BK saved LSU from being 4 and 8 by being smart enough to see his potential. JD now is the front runner for Heisman. An idiot like you doesn't deserve to have a winning football team.

And you could also say BDJ saved O's arse.

And the crab-stealer saved (and made) Jimbo's arse at FSU & aTm. Jimbo should pay him a finders fee at least...

But he got JD5 here.. if you give credit to O for Joey B, then give credit to CBK and any success this year with JD5

Wouldn't this same logic be applied to every coach who has had any type of success?

BK brought in JD and the staff developed him.

The O nutlicker dog whistle is working pretty well today. We are only missing Pirate Queen at this point.

I have to agree to an extent. If we had the same record this year, but didn’t have a Heisman Qb to distract us and possibly give us a consolation prize we would be up in arms about how bad things are.

Hopefully he begins to play better against top 10 teams:

Kelly was 4-11 vs top 10 in 12 seasons at Notre Dame.

Brian Kelly is currently 2-4 at lsu vs top 10 teams.

Looking at the season, if JD wasn’t our QB, how many games do you think LSU wins? I think they would have still finished the season around where they are now with maybe an extra loss against Mizzou

Complete bullshite! CBK went and got JD5, who was a good - not great - QB. Then CBK made him a great QB. CBK gets 100% of the credit and 100% of the blame for how everything has worked our so far.

Good Lord Considering the state of things when Kelly got here, that isn’t a terrible record in context. It has to improve going forward, but Kelly already improving on his winning percentage against the top 10 during a rebuild is low on the list of things to complain about.

CBK recruited him. Let’s not act like JD took on the world at his last stop. There is some credit to be given to building him up.

We seem to be missing alot of young talent in key spots. LSU should not be having this problem starting in year 3 of Brian kelly taking over at LSU.

I agree that we should not have the problems you imagine we are going to have. It’s a good thing we don’t have those problems.

Didn’t he go get him? So he gets the credit. Doesn’t every coach depend on their players?
