I didn't say that now did I? Did
I say that it would have been my choice?

No I simply said that it was Os choice, he's gotten the flack for it and so I will wait until I see the results. Is it possible that it will fail, yes it is. It is also possible that at LSU in 2018 with these players and coaches, that it works.

No one really knows that and me personally, I will give that a chance to happen. That's simply the way I am. He made his bed and will lay in it.

Based on his history with other programs, he shouldn't have been hired but he was hired bc of the recent job that he did with Orgeron at LSU and that's good enough for me. Again at those other programs he could have been cuffed to what he actually wanted to do? We don't know that and maybe they do? Who knows.

He chose to be an OC at A&M and then clemson. And not being the OC was not his choice at either of those places.

If you aren’t going to root for Ensminger to succeed, you should go root for another team. He didn’t ask for this and we play with the cards we’re dealt with.

Fake fan. Change your colors.

See? He’s got some experience bringing a team in at 6-6, so he’s well prepared for 2018

The Bulldogs won 19 games in Ensminger's first two years calling plays.

Imagine, the thinking man's quarterback did all that under the regime of Ray Goff!

season to s Brennan 2018 [/quote]

and I'll raise you a Lowel Narcisse.
Ensminger never had QB's with this kind of potential to work with in the past. Need to wait until after the 2019 season then if no success you can make this post. Until then it's not relevant

I wonder if he has ever had a HC who would let him freely gameplan and play-call?

I would imagine that he was asked to run the HC's offensive approach, so I doubt he had much latitude at eaTme, Aub or Clemson. This time around, he has a much better opportunity to rise or fall on his own merits.

I doubt Coach Orgeron will interfere with what Ensminger wants to do, unless things go south, badly.

It will be interesting, to say the least. Geaux Tigers!

The rant has turned into an absolutely miserable place.

This one of the stupidest threads I have seen in a while. Good job OP.

Some of you kids on here think it is funny to ridicule Ensminger's age. The man has tons of experience but you nutjobs are really just too damn stupid to converse with about anything relating to LSU Football. Most of you just insult everything on a daily basis with absolutely nothing but the same crap on a daily basis. That is what is old. Not Ensminger but the pathetic and lame BS on a daily basis.

Morons.

Otto Graham says Steve Ensminger was the bestest QB coach he's ever had.
