This has been the issue since Bk’s very first game against Florida State

I honestly believe we lost the game on that horrible sequence. If we get a TD instead of FG we keep the momentum and win. The offense reverted back to complete shite after that.

Where is all this alleged elite speed that Caden has?

This isn’t the first time he has been walked down from behind

First and goal from the two. There is no excuse for not being able to power the ball up the middle for the touchdown. I don’t care how bad the OL is. Nothing pisses me off more than to see us line up in the shotgun in that situation.
The Saints did the same thing on 4th and one today and got stuffed.

I believe I saw from a reporter we only had 10 players on the field too, another reason for the TO

I've watched jr high teams better organized to respond with scripted plays in situations to put Ds back on their heels or waste a TO

The very first play after the run was a run by Durham, before the TO

THEN we called the TO on 2nd down (which was the pass play TD/but negated by false start). Very Les Miles like of us to get a penalty fresh out of a TO.

Then direct snap to JuJuan, on the post-penalty 2nd down from the 5

(Not necessarily directed at OP, just clearing up all the misinformation in the thread - which I just looked up the PBP to confirm how my at-the-time-sober-self recalled the sequence)

Christian McCaffery couldn’t have scored with that oc and line.

Zero discipline. They aren’t scared of failing and they don’t respect him.

He’s not running out of gas; he’s being caught by guys who are a lot faster than him.

Got run down vs Bama....use to watch Jeremy Hill and LF7 all bigger backs never get chased down.
Dude had a 2 yard head start and still got sucked up. Smh

Yeah, no shite. How does that contradict what I said, which was that he was not running out of gas he was being caught from behind by faster guys?

Also, Durham got caught easily. The big South Carolina back held off Mansoor Delane for about 50 yards.

Throw the jump ball to Green 4 times if necessary. The goal line play calling should be easy with a 6’7” TE & a competent QB.

Correct

We did this because the WR was getting into it with a CB. Staff decided to try and sub him out but it didn’t happen in time.

Then the penalty which killed us.

OP is wrong.

Exactly OPs sequence is wrong...we ran First down ..subbed 2 out and 1 in (which is inexcusable at this point in this season in a stadium that is basically a neutral field) called TO...then got a penalty... We should have run the ball 4 straight times if need be with a jumbo package
