I get what you’re saying, the difference is, if compared directly with bama - they beat them straight up, At BDS.

What a dawg. Love that guy.

I’ll always remember him for the UF game. That 95yd TD or whatever it was, called back cuz he was held, I looked up mid play with UF streaking down the sideline - Guillory was standing his ground pointing the opposite direction, knew he was held, saw the flag, didn’t even give chase. Was fantastic.

People forget Baker’s wife played soccer at LSU

Also, people forget he played football at Tulane too though…

Is the HC position at Tulane better than the DC job at LSU assuming they are strong contenders for the next few years?

If it means becoming the head coach of your former team and Alma mater, maybe?
What??? You know he’s going to be the HEAD coach right, and not the OC there?

And that he’s going back to be the HC of his former college FB team. How cool is that.

And btw, Manhattan KS is an awesome town. Extremely underrated college town.
It was Kiffin’s lack of success at a high level that had not gotten him in the door. If ATM were hiring this go-around, they’d absolutely give him a call.
I feel like many people don’t realize Blake Baler was a former player at Tulane. Being the HC at your former school is a pretty cool opportunity.

Baton Rouge airport yesterday and there were people around who clearly were not the usual traffic. Looked like agent types. No team logos. No clue who they were. Just saying the energy was weird.

You already proved you know nothing with Woodward. But don’t let this go missed either. The “types” you’re expecting to see, fly into FBO (Private) terminals. And they would blend in with all others, because they would look like they belong, cuz they do.

Can’t think of a program I give less of a shite about than ucla

This is the sentiment of their own fan base too lol

Lots of y’all are missing his point. He intentionally misspelled “wise” and referred to an assistant “Weis”. (Whether he’s telling the truth or not)
Do you really think your (my) season ticket prices, TAF fees, etc, aren’t tied to the program and its’ costs?????

USF Coaches haven’t done well when moving on to major programs. See Willie Taggart and Charlie Strong

Charlie Strong was at Major Programs (Texas) and then USF though. Not the other way around. TBH, I only know this cuz I had to look it up the other day when I was having the same thoughts you are…
MOU’s are meaningless. They are not legally binding. Just saying “cool, this is what you offered me, thanks”.
According to On3’s twitter post, you can add Sam Leavitt to the list.

I knew Kelly was done for when he said “I know a good offensive line when I see one, and this is a good offensive line”

Listen man, you don’t have to throw your players under the bus. But it’s ok to challenge them. Same way Saban used to.

LSU isn’t hiring, Sumrall, Golesh, or Eric Morris. You don’t buyout Kelly for 54 million, and inject millions into the football program, to get a group of 5 guy.

You mean like Texas A&M did with Jimbo/Elko? I know they haven’t won anything yet - but they’re trending the right direction & they were on the brink last year (Yes, I understand Elko was a prior DC there and Duke isn’t G5 - but hiring a 7-5 Duke coach vs a 1 or 2 loss G5 team seems comparable?)

I’m with you, I don’t think we do. But it’s not like it’s never happened.

Has Freeman really done anything at ND that BK didn’t do?

He did win what would he considered 3 big time games… 3 play-off games (one over UGA btw). Seems like it’s better than what BK woulda done in those “big time games”
Listen, it’s fun to watch. But, if I recall correctly - there was never a flight to South Bend, or anywhere.

BK’s own words were that it was a phone call. Then he came to BR. It was fun tracking flights prior to this, only to realize they’re never right/an indicator.

And agents… they handle the convos and negotiations, right?
Isn’t this Freeman‘s only 4th year as a head coach. And he’s young. I’m not saying he’s the next best thing, but always comparing him to an older much more seasoned Head coach seemed odd to me. He’s still young and still learning in my opinion.
Definitely Stessa for Financials.

We also used Avail for tenant management platform/background checks.

Both are free.

If any LSU coach loses to N. Illinois, they’d be gone faster that BK.

What about if they lose to Troy? Would they be allowed to hang around 2 more seasons to then win a Natty?
