Expect more of the same from Alabama

Well. I mean. They can.

But it's not like LSU will be blind to the approach the next time

We are an early blown whistle, chase not getting caught from behind, and a muffed punt away from winning by 24. I think we’re fine

We're also an Auburn RB stepping out of bounds away from losing by 1. Just saying. Yesterday was an off game. Great teams cant afford to have many of those.

I've played or coached Defense for 24 years of my life and they lined up on defense in formations I've never seen

They went soft man on the outside

which is why i said over and over here we needed to go more outside passing and running with horizontal stretches and adjust. we did not!

Auburn was able to take away the middle of the field for the most part. T

exactly what i said here and on scoreboard over nd over only to fall on the deaf ears and blind eyes of the football ignorant crowd here.

I know right? WTH was that all about? Our play calling has been great all year but last night in the red zone and then again in the 4th qtr i thought it went bland and predictable.

AU has one of the most elite DLs in CFB which allowed them to be flexible with the back 7 or 8.

you could see on the first snap they had their 7DB package in and were basically playing near the sticks. Good plan and having that kind of DL talent helps.

Auburn definitely had a plan while we looked sluggish to start.

Problem is you need to adjust within the game and Auburn failed.

WHat hey really took away from the offense was the pass option of the RPO...I can only remember joe throwing it once and it was incomplete...

That’s BS. LSU called their whole second half differently because Auburn’s offense was garbage and needed a potential homerun play or the refs to bail them out on offense.

We are the big dog and people now have enough tape on us to come up with schemes that work----if they have the studs to pull it off.

Two things we should have done against that defense.

Go jumbo and ran off tackle.

Used full back on short yardage.

It was a genius plan by Steele. He wasn’t going to let LSU beat them doing what LSU usually does. 3 down linemen with the 2 LBs stacked right behind them and the DBs all playing zone behind the LBs

I don't know why people still insist on calling Steele a bum. He's an excellent coach. It was just bad timing for him at LSU.

It wasn't good. As others have said, we needed to spread them out horizontally. The only plays that we did that were the two swing passes to CEH. We should have run off-tackle, used an end-around or bubble screen, etc. Instead, we kept trying to run it up the middle and throw it in the middle of the field..

So we cant play our game unless the field is perfect? Please. Now we're blaming it on the field?

Guys both teams played on the same field yesterday.

Yep, if auburn had a conpetent offense we call that game different. I do t like letting them hang in because they have the most luck ever but they were only winning if dirty brown made a strip sack
