Considering our qb that year, Canada did remarkably well against bama.

I don't know why you guys continue downing Etling, he's been in the NFL ever since he left.

When did Ensminger have to interview? And to answer your question, I'd say that worked out pretty damn well. Best offense in history.

Best offense with Brady at the helm

2018 E offense says hello.

Everyone objectively can see what/who the difference was in 2019.

Canada and E blew O away in their interviews as well. We know how that worked out.

Tettleton and the Samford OC coming in as analysts were the better hires.

Just curious, but how many hires have you made as a Head Coach? You don't know shite!

Canada was/is a dick to work with. When your defensive coordinator would rather not be in the same room with him, you have a problem.

Aranda fought for Canada to be retained and almost left over the scandal lol. Aranda moved into Canada’s house in Wisconsin, they’re friends. This board has once again inverted reality on a topic based off totally fake information.

Sitting in his mom's basement thinking he knows better than the guy who architected one of the single greatest CFB seasons of all time.

No matter what happens, Orgeron is the coach of record of 15-0 and a Heisman trophy winner. You can count on one hand the fan bases who got to experience this kind of season. If that doesn't generate some sort of fan bliss in your weird life, you might oughta consider not watching sports anymore.

On paper, Linehan as an offensive assistant is a great hire. He’s really quite overqualified to be an offensive assistant.

I trust O.

Weird comp. Canada was brought in because he was the hottest name, and that was a mistake that O vowed never to repeat.

While there’s no doubt that Joe Brady and Ensminger were a great duo, Joe Burrow is the one who deserves the vast majority of the credit for last year’s success. LSU wasn’t the only school running that offense (or a very similar variation of it).

You have to have horses to win games in college football. Otherwise, Nick Saban would’ve won a national championship at Michigan State.

Do you think you are going to get a 20 year nfl of and former NFL head coach for less?

The only people doing this are fans of other teams. There may be some posing as LSU fans, but what LSU fan wants the team to go back to the last decade? There are none.

Even the skeptics (myself included) are all over this board gladly admitting that O has won them over.

Ree’s not wrong. There are still quite a few folks around here who seem to be convinced that we are screwed now that Burrow and Brady are gone. You can praise Orgeron for winning a championship, while also doubting his ability to maintain success.

I mean, if people have truly been “won over” by Orgeron, why would they doubt his decision to keep Ensminger as our OC? Why would they be so concerned about the Linehan hire? These are all signs of lingering doubt among some fans. And it’s not a huge stretch to imagine that some will come out of the woodwork when we inevitably see a drop off from the best offense in program history.

Of course, I think some of these posters are just trolls looking for ways to be contrarian. But there are plenty of fans here who legitimately think anything less than 10 wins is an abject failure and a stain on the program, despite the fact that we only won 10+ games 40% of the time under Saban and 65% of the time under Miles.

They're too busy listening to other teams fans that hate LSU with a passion and saw us win a title last season with one of the best teams and coaching staffs to ever do it. So, of course they're going to hope like hell and try to speak into existence our demise. They're talking shite trying to convince themselves that LSU is going to fall off when they know it isn't going to happen.

Hoping upon hope by thinking if they criticize lsu and orgeron and the hires that it will come true. They're fricking scared and they should be after seeing what orgeron and this program have become in short time here at LSU. They know the recruiting, resources, and support this program has and they know our potential. Theyre scared shitless of LSU. Geaux tigers.

I hear what you're saying and I agree 100%.I like to point out to other teams' fans that the last three head coaches at LSU have all won national titles here.

That usually stops the conversation right there.

Anyone not nervous about losing Brady and Burrow... I’ll have whatever you’re having. Even with burrow and many of the same players, ensminger managed 0 against bama. That’s +46 with one main difference. Of course many will accuse me of being negative and that’s fine but I loved every minute of last season and think the world of orgeron. It’s just tough to replicate that kind of success.
