Lost in the Saturday melts, the most reliable inside guy that’s on On3 said after the game that Brian Killy went on a relaxing vacation during our bye week, and the powers that be are well aware and are pissed.

There's no way this is true.

I think most coaches do this for like two days.
Not ones that need to revamp and entire offensive philosophy mid season.

Yes, it would be an exercise in futility...but you gotta try.

Doesn’t matter if he can do it - its a bad look when most college football coaches are working 15 hours a day during the season.

Coaches don't get PTO?

One could argue that he got $95M worth of PTO.

I wonder how many lawyers are reviewing his contract, trying to find "cause"?

Are we going to keep pretending Killy has been slaving away and has earned a lengthy vacation?!? Insanity.

If I had to guess, the way it looks, he strolls into his office at around 9 am, parks it at his desk, plays FreeCell until about 11:30, takes a two hour lunch, then strolls back in around 1:30 and plays Solitaire until about 5. Might spend a few minutes each day bullshitting with Sloan and/or Baker.

Bingo. Brian “Sandals” Kelly doesn’t deserve a vacation when the house is on fire.

Coaches like lane kiffin and Kirby smart, shite even deboer after week one deserve hard earned breaks.

This should be pretty obvious.

Are you aware of anything his contract saying he couldn't do this? Are you aware of anyone in admin saying that he could not do it, then him doing it anyway?

Because otherwise there is no "cause" in any appreciable way

I wish we could though

I figured this would finally hit here.

Yes, it happened.

Yes, boosters are pissed and Woodward has a major problem on his hands.

However, it isn't just the trip during the bye week, that is just a culmination of a coach with very poor work ethic.

CBK takes the summers off and coasts into camp unprepared. He made some improvements this summer, but he lacks the intensity that Saban, Miles and even O brought to preparation.

If results were better, it would be overlooked.

Instead, we got beat by a team that only has 12 Four stars when our locker room has 5 times that amount in 5 and 4 stars.

The boosters were told to dig deep and buy portal talent and we would be in the playoffs.

They did there part only to have a coach that is coasting.

They are done with Kelly.

Yes indeed. Anyone who thinks this is a one-time circumstance has their head in the sand.

From day one insiders have been alluding to Kelly seriously lacking oversight for making $10 million a year. Enough is enough.

If they were done with Kelly they would be scraping together the massive buyout but it doesn't appear they are

we could see a soft quitting from booster this offseason not giving anywhere near as much for NIL, so when the team fails next year maybe a buyout occurs

$4,500.00 per hour
Four thousand five hundred dollars per every working hour during the normal work week.

Yep, I've read the same stuff on the on3 board since 2023. He absolutely treats the job like a 9-5 and delegates to the rest of the staff a ton of work. I remember last season someone connected said BK needs to start worrying more about the team than his golf game.

He doesn't give a crap and boosters especially this season should be livid. They responded and had a massive NIL effort and he still acts this way.

Could you imagine someone suggesting this to Nick Saban? "Coach, the bye week is in two weeks. You want to go on a lil vacation to the west coast?"
