Based on the fact that we have studs at every position. Add to that we have a star at both levels also.

You tell me which position in our front 7 that you are worried about.

Sure. We have studs on paper. But few of them have actually done anything of note on the field yet.

They may turn out great but to state during spring practice they this will be a historically good front 7 is just wishful thinking.

Lets see: New QBs, new RBs, new WRs, new OC . . .

in the spring vs a stacked Aranda defense. Shocking.

No surprise. The defense is supposed to be ahead of the offense at this point. If you follow LSU football, the same spring report comes out that the defense gels faster. It only takes a few practices and they are back to being dominant. The only exception in the last ten years was 2013. Aranda is still running his schemes and will probably continue to dominate Ensminger. I would be petrified if the report came out that the offense torched the D.

Let’s see how long that classic excuse lasts as practice continues.

Maybe we'll have to get an offense from JUCO next year.

Do you not think that LSU will play two or three of the top defenses in the nation next year? I would be willing to bet that zero points will not be quite enough, once again. We hear the same story about the defense being ahead of the offense every year. The only problem is that in most seasons recently, many defenses stay way ahead of LSU's offense throughout the season. It is very hard to be encouraged, when the weakest part of the team is expected to improve with an incredibly weak group of offensive coaches being hired. Fans are asked to have blind confidence in coaches that are not desired by any other school, and coaches that have failed at places where they have held comparable positions. I hope that it works out, but I will wait to see results before making weak excuses for another team that ranks in the 70s or 80s in scoring offense. I personally believe that top 25 in scoring should be the standard. If it happens, then I will feel that Ensminger deserved the promotion. If they are not top 25, then the Orgeron buddy system experiment has failed and it is time to move on.

No worries. Coach O just hasn't implemented his full amount of offensive meddling yet.
