Might not be a very big nor impressive occurrence. Not so sure our offense will be that great.

I think it is hilarious that it was Ensminger's offense that set these rushing records against High School defenses, but he used someone else's offense when the offense couldn't score against Bama/ Florida. Pretty convenient circumstance, that you get to take credit for things that work and disperse blame for failures. Then again, our Administration has made a habit of hiring previous failures or below average coaches, when it comes to football.

Well we don’t have a QB with any experience at all. Or a running game any other SEC school would envy. Not to mention a depleted offensive line. So yeah the defense better dominate them. You know so they get used to it for the fall.

Who saw this coming with the retirement home as our offensive staff.

Brilliant move by O to fire Canada and promote Steve

I remember hearing good things about how great the offense was progressing. How much of a beast CEH was. Basically Offense offense baby. Pretty much all Summer leading up to the first game. I remember being hyped into thinking we could be on to something really special. Little did I know how 'special' it would be the first 5 games. Turns out anyone could run over our defense with any sort of offense. Hopefully we aren't the same slow starting lazy team this year.

I can hope all I want for an awesome season, but I'll stay cautious to not let their hype be trusted too much.

First thing I thought of when I read the topic:

And it looks like Hayes is trying to hit Vaughn, and why not everyone else in the league does.

And don't think you wouldn't be reminded of that if the offense lit it up.

Last Thursday the offense kicked the defenses arse and this Saturday the Defense kicked the offenses arse. It looks like they are taking turns, but nonetheless, at this early stage, the defense is usually always ahead of the offense especially when you take into account that there is a brand new offense being installed.

Foster Moreau blamed it on two things for why the offense got its butt kicked by the defense on Saturday. He said that Aranda installed some of his packages on defense and he said that out of the 52 plays the offense ran on Saturday, 30 of them had miscues. It's kind of hard to move the ball if you are constantly making miscues. Then he said it was because it is a brand new offense and because the players haven't studied their playbooks enough yet.

However, he wasn't worried. He said everybody will get better as they continue to learn the plays on offense.

Sure. We have studs on paper. But few of them have actually done anything of note on the field yet.

I disagree with this, at least in a few positions..
Obviously ILB is a known commodity with a returning first team SEC-er.

Lawrence should make 1st or 2nd team SEC this year assuming he stays healthy.

Alexander is pretty dang good with a lot of experience. it wouldn't surprise me to see him on several awards lists or all SEC in some way.

Feheko is a known commodity and has proven that he is more than a "stud on paper."
He'll make a fantastic bookend with Lawrence.

Shelvin is a great backup to have.

Neil Farrell, Glen Logan, Davin Cotton, and Dantrieze Scott provide some experienced and talented depth that we haven't had in awhile.

Outside linebacker does leave question marks.

I'm not going to anoint it as "historically great" just yet, but it's not the least bit ridiculous to think this could be one of the top 5 front sevens in the last 20 years.

This is how losers think. If the OL would have done well, you would be crying about how our DL sucks because they shouldn't get blocked....there's no win with clowns like you.

So tell us oh wise one, if all the OL block correctly and all the DL cover there assignments, what happens?
