Sorry but the whole camp is a joke. This is the same camp that said JJ was looking like a true all American QB.

We heard the same thing coming from the LSU side every damn year, too. A lot of people were guilty of falsely claiming that Jefferson had finally turned the corner, and some of those people are millionaires who wear P&G.

LSU always has a QB at the camp

I don't think you know what the word "always" means. I know JJ went, and I think Mett went, but not sure. Russell Shepard went, but not a QB. So that's only 2 years LSU had a QB at the camp. Am I missing anyone?

It's a camp for HS kids. If Harris (or any other LSU QB) were attending, it would be as an Instructor. To that end, Harris is a true Soph. with one college start to his name and only a handful of appearances otherwise. They may want college guys with a little more experience than Harris to be instructors

I was going to ask this but figured that would be an obvious reason.

From the National Football Foundation, top quarterback counselors include TCU's Trevone Boykin, USC's Cody Kessler, Penn State's Christian Hackenberg, Stanford's Kevin Hogan and California's Jared Goff. Plus, read how Archie Manning puts recruiting off limits at the passing academy.

University of Tennessee at Chattanooga quarterback Jacob Huesman is also attending, per the Chattanooga Times Free Press, along with Pittsburgh's Chad Voytik. Read in this report about Huesman's invitation from Archie Manning, and how these quarterbacks hope to learn some tips from the Mannings.

From a smaller school, the Jackson Clarion-Ledger wrote in April that Jackson State quarterback LaMontiez Ivy will aim to improve his own footwork during the Manning Passing Academy.

A tweet from Minnesota Golden Gophers reporter Ryan Burns indicates quarterback Mitch Leidner will be in Thibodaux:

It's a little odd that Harris isn't there IMO. Although he's only a sophomore, it couldn't hurt to spend a little time trying to soak up some instruction from the Mannings and other counselors.

What is the deal with everyone saying he has trouble with the playbook? Is this just the rant talking out their arse or is their some evidence of this?

There is no evidence.

it is nothing more than the so called "positigers" slamming one of our players (AGAINST SITE RULES), to defend the choice to play Aj last year.

“I look at myself as the competition,” Harris said in his first mass interview since the Auburn game last season. “I’m the only thing that is holding myself back. I held myself back this past season, and now I realize that.”

Harris, according to LSU’s coaches, did not master the playbook last season and basically winged it when he started at Auburn, which may make one wonder why he was allowed to start. At any rate, Harris frequently looked confused as he completed just 3 of 14 passes for 58 yards in a 41-7 loss in game six of the season.

“Last year, I would be the first one to tell you I didn’t know the ins and outs of things I needed to know,” Harris admitted. “Now going into my second spring, I’m so much more comfortable. I’m not having anybody like the right tackle (Jerald Hawkins in the Auburn game) tell me I’ve called the wrong play or this and that. I’m more comfortable.

Harris would do better being around his teammates and all the staff imo at the moment.

Dude, we had to call a timeout out of a timeout last year because he couldn't get the play correct in the huddle.
