Toviano, did not impress me at all at the saftey postion.

We have no aggressive safteys.

Just watch the Texas , Ohio state and South carolina safties.

Those dude make plays!!!

He’s going to lose the season opener AGAIN and we likely just miss the playoffs.

Please get a younger HC that actually played football in college and/or pro.

Well the only good thing about your statements that I can tell you is that we'll know early what kind of team this will be. The bad news is we've got 3 years of evidence to tell us that he's probably not going for the jugular.

Ban bet? If he makes the playoffs, its a push. If he doesn't and gets fired I'll quit posting for a year, otherwise you get quit posting for a year.

What do you say?

Oh man, I can’t wait until spring practices start and we hear once again how we look like a juggernaut team!

Dumb bet. People can just select another profile using a different email address and screen name and post all they want.

And if he fails, he gets a $50mill parting gift. Really nice spot to be in as a coach. But good that he’s got the winning attitude and is being aggressive trying to fill holes and not just complacent trying to win with his current roster.

I mostly suggest it to see if they'll take me up.

I would honor my bet, though.

My expectations are that we have a 1st round bye in the playoffs. I'll be okay if we make it in, but we should shoot to win the SEC next year.

That's a tall hill to climb. I wouldn't be completely surprised if we get that but I do not expect it.

If by we, you mean the team, I feel like they do that every year. If you mean fans, that is the goal for me as well I just try to be realistic with my expectations.

I haven't seen many seasons since Saban arrived where I did not think LSU was capable of getting to the SEC championship game with a few breaks when the season started. Heck, I kind of felt that way with Dinardo Even at the beginning of his last season.

Yall need to chill out.

Now if he adds 3 or 4 more starter types to this roster then maybe I can see it. Still too many holes imo.

True, but do we have the OC and DC to make it to the promise land.

We’ll see. They still have work to do roster wise. These need another OT, 2 difference makers at safety, and another body at TE at minimum.

Does that mean he will pound the table with both hands after losing the opening game again?

I think we can make it with our DC.
I think if Sloan remains OC we have an uphill fight.
We need MUCH better ST coaching and emphasis. Zavion's performance in the bowl was encouraging, tho'.
