HVL is playing her arse off. It hasn’t been perfect by any stretch, but no one could stop Clark the way she’s shooting. If she doesn’t cool off, we have problems. It’s that simple.

We beat them last year by shutting everyone else down. We haven't done that in this game.

HVL's defense hasn't been the problem. She's turned the ball over at a couple of absolutely critical times.

LSU needed to hit open shots and they did not. They had 3 people jumping to Reese in the post. LSU should have had open shots all night. They just can’t hit open jumpers.

Crazy how many are here taking up for HVL! She has been trash ALL TOURNAMENT! Her inability to keep her defender in front of her has been nonexistent all season. It's not about her stopping CC, the fact that CC has been able to dribble around her at will is why the defense has been completely collapsed all night. This is nothing new, this has been HVL's problem all season. Her offensive production has also been horrible because she's working so hard to defend and she's tired from getting s=constantly beat and having to expend an insane amount of energy trying recover.

I’m fine with her getting shots hit on her all night by the best players ever to play wbb but she hasn’t created one offense shot at the point guard position. She’s been a turnover machine and momentum killer all year long outside of one really good game.
