re: Browning abolt - drakeT1217 on 12/14/17 at 10:39 pm
ive had an a-bolt for a long time and never had a problem with taking the safety off to work the bolt. However, when I started having to take cousins little kids and nephews and what not it did make me a little nervous. I've since moved away to a 3 click model 70 for when I take the kids. re: What is fair market value of a south Texas trophy hunt? - drakeT1217 on 12/14/17 at 10:34 pm
I know several guys that guide around south Texas. I believe a pretty standard low or high fence hunt is gonna run you $2,500-$3,000 for a deer scoring up to about 130 and about $100 an inch for anything above that. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Anyone else having a terrible duck hunt in NELA? - drakeT1217 on 12/2/17 at 10:34 pm
It's really not that bad. I hunt north of Mer Rouge and down off 15. It's been 75 degrees all week. What do you expect ? I've heard people on 15 really complaining this week that really need to take the weather into consideration. 2nd split will be just fine. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)

re: Need advice on a long range rifle - drakeT1217 on 10/27/17 at 6:38 pm
After owning one and having killed with it, I honestly would be willing to trade all my guns in for my 6.5 creedmore. Obliterated a 300+ lb aoudad last week at 380 yards. I honestly thought the 6.5 deal was just a fad, and it's not. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)

Anyone work on golf carts ? - drakeT1217 on 9/1/17 at 12:20 pm
Something's up with my club car. It will not charge, thought maybe it was the charger so I borrowed someone else's and when you plug it in it does nothing either. Batteries are pretty new. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (4)
re: Grand Isle this weekend - Is it worth it? - drakeT1217 on 7/9/17 at 9:25 pm
I know this is a huge longshot but if I wanted to find an inshore guide for this Friday for 2 people where should I look? Fishing with a friend Saturday but I just found out I could go down a day early and 2 of us are wanting to inshore fish. Anywhere driving distance from my friends camp on the isl...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
