What if little Nicky Satan was still coaching the Dolphins?

Cecil the Diesel has to be up there.
Butch Duhe - died before he could take a varsity snap.
John David Crowe - he' actually enrolled at LSU and was on campus when Bear Bryant pulled him from Broussard Hall.

What is Okie St beats Iowa St? Les wins another natty in 2011. Combine that with LSU beating Bama in 2012? Back to back natties now. Do we still have Les?

In my mind, I'm already there.

What if Tom Herman or Jimbo Fisher were hired instead of Ed Orgeron? Has to rank up there in the Top 5 at least?

My point was what if we lose that game.

—No natty in 07
—Les probably fired much sooner
—Coach O probably not the coach
—no telling what the current program looks like now

One of the most important plays in LSU history

WHAT IF Carl Reese (DC/DL) and Ron Case (DB) don't leave LSU for Texas and North Carolina?

WHAT IF that very good original DiNardo staff stay together long term?.....

That being said, WHAT IF DiNardo hires anybody else (After Reese leaves) to be Defensive Coordinator besides Lou Tepper?

WHAT IF Chavis doesn't go into a prevent defense on that last Bama series?

Not sure if mentioned, but if LSU beats Florida state that year we would’ve probably hired Bobby Bowden. He turned it down after beating us saying he realized Florida state had as much potential as LSU.

Could’ve hired spurrier at one point as well.

What if dolphins had just signed Brees? Where would saban, the dolphins, alabama, Saints, and Lsu all be now?

What if Steve Spurrier got a second interview in 1986??

What if the coaching staff actually utilized Deangelo Peterson?

What if Eric Walker doesn’t get hurt in 2017?

Beat me to it. No Saban to Alabama and no Super Bowl for the Saints. I am torn, but glad it worked out the way it did. Can say that the Saints won a Super Bowl in my lifetime

What if Miles puts in Jarrett Lee in the 2nd half of the 2011-12 BCSCG.

Would not have made any difference that game. They were constantly in our backfield. Les didn’t have us prepared at all. The entire team was flat.

I guess the difference would be, now we’d be saying “what if Miles leaves Jefferson in?”

Ryan Perrilieux lack of character probably cost one or two, championship game appearances..

He also ruined our QB recruiting for a couple of cycles.. LSU was unable to capitalize on the NC and get a high profile QB because of Perriloux and our no QB friendly offensive scheme.. the scheme got worse going forward from 2007.

These "what if's" all going in LSU's favor would total an additional FOUR National Championdhips!

Have to include the 2012 4th and 1. Convert that and we play UGA and then UND for another title.

Georgia football has the worst of these “what if” lists. Never seen so many meltdowns and blown season endings as the Dawgs the last two decades.

What if...

Wade is coaching at the end of last season

Johnny Jones isn’t the coach of the Ben Simmons team

ker makes that kick, OSU goes undefeated, plays undefeated LSU in BCSNCG instead of Alabama, LSU likely goes 14-0 and completes the best season in CFB history.

We all know what actually happened.

2012 Bama game. If we held on to win, we end up stopping the streak at 1, and most likely we also play for and win the National Title against ND. The narrative of Saban, Bama, Miles, the whole thing changes.

I think these go hand in hand.
