Yep, that's what I think of.

Does Dietzel winning 2 NC’s at LSU change his decision after the 1961 season?
LOTS of rumors that He left because he was having or had had relations with a BOS wife and one of his assistants wives...it was not to go to West Point, it was to get away from Baton Rouge.

If Fess Irvin makes 2 free throws to put LSU up 3 over Indiana in 1986 regional title game and LSU holds on!to win.
Another if: If LSU would have recruited and signed Istrouma’s Carlos Sample instead of Irvin, we wouldn’t be talking about this. Sample would have made those free throws. FACT.

That bogus facemask call was against Benjy Thibodeaux

Oklahoma State vs. Iowa State, 2011.
yep..
And then what if we stop that fcking Yeldon play in the waning seconds against Bama in 2012.
Suddenly we're (possibly) back to back National champs, with 3 straight over bama and recruiting out of our minds with 2 back to back #1 classes.
Instead it's the exact opposite.. AND we give Clemson the momentum to become what they've become.
I mean.. almost certainly 2 plays away from 1 more national championship and at least playing for another in the 2010s (I mean.. That would've been an easier win than OK state in 2011..How Notre Dame ended up in that championship game is beyond me). Firmly cementing us (not them) as the defacto dynasty.
No bitching about Cam Robinson.. Dylan Moses. Tim Williams. Chris Allen. Isaiah Buggs. getting away to Bama. No speak of Saban as the best ever. No unbearable gumps..
What could have been.

What if there was .5 more seconds on the clock in the 2016 LSU/Auburn game on the final play?
There was, the refs ran clock when they shouldnt have.
Biggest one would be Drew in Miami. We never lose 8 in a row to Bama. Probably win a couple of more titles. Youd also have to think some of the players we wanted, In state and out of state, dont go to Bama.

What if the highest rated quarterback signing in LSU history, Russell Shepard, actually played quarterback at LSU?
did you see the auburn game?
he was qb.
he leaped into the hole, was snagged in the air and thrown down like a sack of potatoes.
he didnt take another snap as qb.
what if he didnt take 7 years to learn to catch?

What if Saban and the Dolphins signed Drew Brees instead of Dante Culpepper? Dolphins suck less? Lil’ Nicky stays in The pros? Les goes on to win more championships?
Posted on 2/28/20 at 8:09 pm to HoustonTigerNKaty
How would Russell Shepherd have done at QB?

If we win in 2011 we probably repeat in 2012 but don’t see the 2019 season.
Everything sorts itself I think.

What if Xavier Carter was actually good at football? His speed could have made him a lot of money in the NFL.

1. Bo Rein
2. Billy Cannon awarded his 2 pt conversion against Tennessee in 1959. LSU would have won two consecutive national championships.
3. Oklahoma State Field Goal is good and LSU stomps OSU for the National Championship in 2011.
4. That great 1969 LSU team beats Ole Miss and gets a shot at the National Championship in that year.
5. LSU holds on to beat Nebraska in the 1971 Orange Bowl and has a shot at being named National Champions.
These "what if's" all going in LSU's favor would total an additional FOUR National Championdhips!

It takes a special player to seriously contend for the Heisman on defense but ESPN loved Mathieu. He literally pissed away a Heisman.

What if Tito Horford had not bolted before the'87 season even started and played with John Williams?

What if Brad Wilson, instead of hitting a double two batters ahead of Warren Morris in 1996, had grounded out to first?
Or if they called him out at 2nd? It was really close...

If Jarrett Lee would’ve started the 1/9/12 and if les miles would’ve gotten canned after 2013

LSU likely goes 14-0 and completes the best season in CFB history.
Fortunately 2019 gets to stake this claim. 2011 defense was probably better; 2019 team MUCH better.
