Still think we should claim 2011

We aren't claiming matty's like Bama. I hated it too, but we lost the National Championship game that year.

What if Mike Miley hadn’t signed a MLB contract and played another year at QB?
What if Hodson and his boys hadn’t lobbied for Mike Archer and LSU hired Spurrier or Mike Shannahan, both of whom wanted the job?
What if LSU beats Florida State in 1979? Bobby Bowden would’ve been our next HC.

Saw a show on What If. Big question they discussed was, What if Saban never left LSU

What if Drew Brees goes to Miami and plays for Saban and the Dolphins.

Saban never goes to Bama so LSU wins multiple championships but Saints don’t win the superbowl.

Not the biggest What If but I would like to have seen Randy Livingston’s career at LSU and NBA without his knee injuries. He and Henderson healthy would have been fun to watch.

That missed FG on a Friday night in Ames is a pretty big moment.

Mostly because it was a horrible call and the ball went over the upright.

LSU got screwed that game on the bogus call on AJ Duhe. If not for that we would have won
. AJ Duhe was in his 3rd year with the dolphins when that game took place

People keep mentioning Bo Rein and are forgetting the even bigger obvious one. What if LSU isn’t upset by Florida State in 1979? LSU was trying to hire Bobby Bowden who at the time was in his 4th year at FSU. He was on the fence about taking the job. He has been quoted more than once that he told his wife. If they beat LSU in Death Valley then he knew he could build Florida State and win long term there and they would stay. If they got beat by LSU then he would take the LSU job. Well they beat LSU on that Saturday afternoon and the rest is history. This is the biggest what if in LSU history.
