If tweet fails to load, click here. Curious to see if they end up taking a stand in the SEC, and if they have the legal grounds to do so.
Week 1 can’t be here soon enough…

Does the B1G have a rule against stealing teams plays and a 24 year old roster?

My first assumption would be every member or close to it would have to vote yes to pass it.
In the sec you have: Texas, Alabama, LSU and South Carolina all with players that they took. Alabama being Beidieko in basketball.
I don’t think the Texas AD or president is going to vote yes, I’d assume the same of Verge and Rousse

Don’t comply. Play them and sue the conference unless Chambliss has to sit

"Sorsby moment", right. I mean this is totally like betting on game...

Ross is such a butt hurt little bitch since we fired BK and McLoser.
If this rule needs a simple majority to pass I could see it passing. However, if 3 of your biggest money makers are against it, then not sure you really want to rock a boat that Texas,LSU and Bama are in. None of these coaches made the moves they did without the support of their Ad and the president of the school.

This is all insane this is happening literally days before the start of the season

Wait so it was fine when Texas did it or when Ole Miss gives their QB a 6th year for no reason, but they draw the line when LSU goes and gets players that are trying to get their 5thyear of eligibility from 5 for 5 being passed at the worst time possible? And now they’re mad at LSU for using something THEY passed to their advantage?

Yea the reaction to it is bat shite crazy, these are guys that were caught up in a very late rule change. This is a one year issue not a multiple issue. They have fixed it going forward with the 5 for 5.
I think we would support if it was ok we can’t have the 22 guys that were udf but ole miss doesn’t get chambliss as that completely wrecks them

Scrambling To Pass Anti-2022 Class Legislation,
Is it specifically anti-2022 class, or just for future classes?

LSU and other schools will sue. It's pretty simple

It seems like the majority of people are just ignoring this.

Legislation? Are they Congress or something?

Yeah correct me if I’m wrong but this is all a bunch of grandstanding sanctimonious bullshite by the other conferences announcing this shite because this is the last year this issue could even really arise right? Big 10
most fricked up conference of all

Bylaw legislation. It’s frivolous. State court proceedings will bulldoze whatever gobbledygook they can concoct within this upcoming conference meeting.

If these players got a TRO against the NCAA it seems exceptionally fair to assume that they can get them against the conferences as well. The whole idea is that these guys were owed the 5th season of eligibility within the 5th year of their enrollment (who did not forego their eligibility early).
If the courts already ruled in their favor, it seems they would just do so again.
