Did Skip, Saban, Pat Summit, Gino, Bear have likable personalities? That’s just about a deal breaker for truly great coaches.

Fantastic. My pawpaw used to have a chair back from the 50s that said, "Ole Miss can kiss what sits on this." LOL

So winning % vs LSU is the more important than trips to Omaha and an actual chance to win a National Title.

You're a damn idiot.

Did you actually read my post?

I do not want Bianco. I only made the point that he has been better than Paul the last 4 years.

I said I wanted Godwin dumbass

In my opinion SW and/or Verge has planted all of these “done deals, down to 2” candidates to throw off the real hire and find the leaks.
So true. The classic tactic to identify snitches is to tell everyone something different in confidence and then see which one surfaces.

Well then We’ve got a bunch of snitches, because I’ve seen “done deal” for:

-O’Sullivan
-Bianco
-Godwin

The only big name I haven’t seen “done deal” for is McDonnell, so hopefully he’s the real hire

Didn't watch the series this year, did you?

So one series decides how good a coach is?

I did say who I wanted to be the next HC - Godwin and nobody else.

Another great point...

Bianco gets better players than LSU and still CAN'T make it to Omaha. Case proven.

The dude isn't a good coach!

And your point?
Why I want Godwin.

He didn’t have to do much with Mulkey. She wanted to come home.
Not true. She's wanted to come home for years but she still had to be convinced to leave a fantastic situation and people that she was committed and loyal to. Woody's approach to her, getting D-D involved, and the negotiation were critical. Her wanting to come home just opened the door for LSU.

I know People are down on Bianca, but Do we really think any coach won’t do better at LSU than Ole Miss?

Bianco doesn't get the level of recruits we do so he has had to develop them a lot more than PM. Still don't think he or KOS are the right guys for us but I'd prefer Bianco over KOS.

I don’t want Sully or Schloss or anyone else besides Godwin

Bianco would be my choice between the two.

He understands LSU and has done a good job as the second baseball school in a very small state.

Sullivan has demonstrated very few off field promotional skills that a head coach should have. He can't fill his stadium let alone something with the capacity of Alex Box. It doesn't seem to bother him.

Paul’s time is up, but he is in the fricking Hall of Fame and in top 10 all time wins in the history of the sport.

i mean god damn let’s not act like 2021 was what his entire career looked like.

You have no idea how wrong you are. Bianco makes players better. PM put talent on the field and hoped for the best. It is difficult to recruit across the country to Oxford, MS. They were nothing prior to his arrival. I don't think it will be Bianco, but he is a great coach.

20 years at Ole Miss.....1 CWS appearance....but even better, only 1 SEC regular season SEC championship and it was split with guess who...LSU. But he gets the talent and he’s a good coach....blah, blah, blah....

The dude sucks. He’d be a massive fail hire. Massive! If some of you can’t see that you really need to take your Skip Bertman, LSU kool-aid, fanboy glasses off!

Ole Miss average class ranking is 22nd over the last 5 years. They had 1 awesome class in '19 or the average would be closer to 30th. Not necessarily an indictment on Bianco but more on the school and Oxford.

I don’t know that Bianco would be one of my top guys, but I could still get behind him.

He wouldn't be one of my top candidates, but I laugh at the notion of Ole Miss fans wanting him gone. They made the tourney twice between 1977 and 2000 before he got there and had never won a regional. They went from going to the tourney twice in 20+ years to going 17 times in 20 years while more than quadrupling their average home attendance. The best atmospheres in college baseball are LSU, Mississippi State, Arkansas and Ole Miss. When has Ole Miss been considered among the best of anything?

Schlossnagle has 5 CWS appearances in the last 10 years at TCU. Granted none of them won it - but Scloss has definitely built the TCU program into an elite program from nothing. With the support he would get at LSU - I think his performance could only get better.
