Crazy that this would be the thought process. Why not go with trying to get a coach who has teams that play well in all phases of the game. I can think of at least three who are just better coaches than either of those guys. And you know who they are.

Check out Moscona’s night cap show the evening our football OL coach was fired. Moscona was badly inaccurate on possible replacements. He gave a few names, and gave a name he strongly believed would be the guy. He was dead wrong.

I am hearing Pat Casey was interviewed. Head Coach of Oregon State. He is the same age as Paul, but if true, you can see that Woodward is speaking with the best and not just narrowly focused.

O'Sullivan would be a massive Homerun hire.
Love what he's done at Florida. Love his no nonsense approach. Recruits like a champ.
7 College World Series in 14 seasons is HARD. He gets there every other year and makes deep runs too. Makes the postseason every year. You want a winner who brings in MLB potential talent, call O'Sullivan and offer him $2 million a year. Well worth it and will put us back on the map.
Hopefully Woody, who has been absolutely superb since hired, doesn't leave Gainesville without O'Sullivan. Roll out the red carpet and money truck. Would really unite our fanbase.

Agree, legends get to chose their successor once. Skip got 2 because he screwed the pooch so bad as was his AD term.
No more, he was an elite pitching and baseball coach and could relate to players but has not demonstrated he can identify great coaching talent.
