Also said many guys in the Skip era have felt left out since Maneri took over and Bianco would essentially be there guy and would bring a lot of former players back inside the program
Terrible reasoning, I think Woodward is above this nonsense.

I don't know about the smokescreen theory but I get it!
I like the smug SOB Sully because of the recruiting and development of his pitching staff over the years.
I believe Godwin and maybe Vitello are the fallback guys but IMO, my gut feeling is Dan McDonald. I think he wants to be here and would be a great fit.
I also have No problem going with a young up-and-coming coach like Godwin or Vitello. I hear that their players love to play for them and that means a lot and is telling of those 2 coaches.

it’s not like Bianco would put the program in any worse shape than it is right now

Yes, we all want the current status quo to continue.

Well then We’ve got a bunch of snitches, because I’ve seen “done deal” for:

-O’Sullivan
-Bianco
-Godwin

It’s reminds me of how Tom Herman and Jimbo have been co-head-coaches in football the last few years.

Schlossnagle has 5 CWS appearances in the last 10 years at TCU. Granted none of them won it - but Scloss has definitely built the TCU program into an elite program from nothing. With the support he would get at LSU - I think his performance could only get better.

He has had a recruiting advantage like Corbin.

Bianco would be a bad hire. He’s not a good coach and that comes from a current Ole Miss player’s father. He has a lot of holes in his coaching game. He was shocked Bianco’s name is even in consideration for the LSU job, knowing the tradition and the fan base melt that would happen.

That fricking doc has people feeling nostalgic and wanting to recapture the glory days.

Bianco isn’t you Skip no matter how much you’d like him to be or he pretends to be
