Let's see, when scott needed a football coach at Washington, he went and got chris Peterson, the coach with the highest active winning percentage. When he needed a football coach at A&M, he got jimbo who is one of the few coaches with a natty. He needs a womens basketball coach at lsu, he gets kim mulkey, one of the best in the game.

So you're telling me, now when it's time to hire a baseball coach at lsu, a school where that position matters more than maybe any other, he goes out and gets mediocre Mike with one trip to Omaha in 20 years? Yeah I'm not buying it. Both sully and bianco are smoke in my opinion, Godwin or McDonnell will be the coach.

Wouldn't that depend upon the player?

Schlossnagle would be a better hire.

If Scott Woodward hires Mike Bianco, he should walk the plank.

You do know Ole Miss has been better than LSU with less talent for the last several years.
Bianco is a great recruiter TO OLE FREAKING MISS.

I want Godwin to be honest and only him. Not Sully; Not Schloss, none other than him

1000% better hires than Bianco or O'Sullivan. Hope you're right.

I agree. These recent Bianco rumors have to be all smoke.

knows the right people...they are praying today that we take Bianco!

The Ole Miss posters on SEC Rant are the same way. Honestly, I don't understand why he's even a candidate.

Give me o Sullivan

Bianco wants the job bad as ole miss almost fired him after 2019 still very bitter about that

Ole miss would then get Goodwin who I would prefer over bianco

I like the idea of welcoming back some of the former players and have no idea why PM would have a problem with that. Les did the same thing with former players and I didn't understand it either. I mean it's not like you have to let Theriot make out a line up or something. I guess you run the risk of someone like OBJ showing up and doing something stupid but the upside far outweighs the risk.

So winning % vs LSU is the more important than trips to Omaha and an actual chance to win a National Title.

You're a damn idiot.

This is how LSU ended up with Johnny Jones.

Though Bianco is certainly more accomplished than Jones in their respective sports, the LSU job is one of, if not THE destination job in college baseball by virtue of the fact arguably no other school is willing to provide the amount of money and resources to the program that LSU is. LSU is likely to make the next hire the highest paid HC in the country. Perhaps by a significant margin. That means EVERY HC in the country is going to show interest. Even if largely to leverage their current school.

Settling for MORE money for a guy who is LESS accomplished than the guy you just ran off just because the former players like him is a lazy hire.

Personally, I like Bianco

But 20 years and 1 CWS at a place where he has had capable teams and support and resources is just not acceptable. He has proven to be merely an average/good coach that consistently fails in the postseason.

Matt also said the O-line job was down to only 2 guys and neither of them got the job. He also said why go get Joe Burrow because he could not cut it at OSU, he also said before the 18 season the football program was in decline. Matt is a self-absorbed prick who thinks he is the smartest guy in the room and HE IS NOT!

That said I have no idea who will be the next baseball coach.

If it were Culotta giving this info I would believe it.

Moscona not so much.

Another great point...

Bianco gets better players than LSU and still CAN'T make it to Omaha. Case proven.

The dude isn't a good coach!

Mascona is the least connected sports talk personality in town.. He literally has no clue, you have a better chance of putting some names on the wall and throwing a dart. TD sauce > Scone
