Wait for him to rush the qb then slide a receiver into the zone he vacated.

Commit 2-3 guys to him which will allow Ojulari, S Jones and/or Baskerville to get home. It’s a lose/lose scenario

Tempo, tempo, and more tempo. A team that doesn’t substitute with tempo would be the only way to neutralize him. One of the biggest asset about the 2019 team outside of Burrow was Clyde. Clyde allowed us not to have to substitute.

Part of the luxury of having a player like Perkins on your favorite team is not having to worry about neutralizing him. That’s for someone else to worry about. We just get to sit back, and watch teams not know how to neutralize him.

"Give him the flu" is obviously not the answer.

Run the ball, and run it in his direction. Beat him up. That requires your team to keep the game close. If you are in obvious passing downs, you almost have to double team him.

UGA really looks to be head & shoulders above the rest of CFB. That doesn’t mean LSU can’t beat them in ATL but it’ll take an offensive effort like the 2nd Half of the Ole Miss game & a Defensive effort like the entire Arkansas game just to keep it close & have a shot at the end of the 4th!!

Georgia’s monster of a Tight End will be hard for us to stop since we historically cannot cover TEs and RBs out of the backfield

OL locking him up, basically holding him as we saw in the Bama and Ark games. When it is not called, they sometimes succeed. When he is untouched or breaks contact, game over.

The guy runs at high-PRF and he is only getting started.

With Penn getting better and Baskerville being himself there's not much. LB went from question mark to more than serviceable this season.

Trick the LSU coaching staff into leaving him on the bench. Worked for the Vols.

They use 2 TEs a LOT, and pass to them a lot. If Perkins is at linebacker, he's probably going to have to cover one of them

This is really the answer - line up enough receivers or have TE’s that can run and catch. It removes Perkins from being able to spy or rush. With a team like Georgia, that has these options and a qb that can run if necessary can spell trouble for the defense.

We will have to score high 20’s to 30’s to beat UGA.
